Great talk Molly. This was really a slap in the face for me. I would see those at college thriving and I always have this mindset that they're doing better than me because they're "better and faster" than me at learning without much effort. But they're probably been developing these skills since kindergarten with grit and perseverance and they do put a lot more effort into it than I do. Thank you so much, I've learned a lot from you + I'll share this with everybody. Best wishes!
Thanks for sending this to me jules... awesome!
Thanks Julie, glad you found this helpful and hope it gives you the nudge you need to achieve great things!
Wow, yes agree 1000%
@@grazynaparadowska1306 yes me also

Well I have listened a more than a thousand of Ted talks , but for this one. Must say" what an absolute phenomenal presentation." The body language is in complete resonance with her ideas .! Thanks molly ..! 🙏
Couldn’t agree more. Molly, you completely crushed it. Loved the personal stories, inspiring message on embracing drive over achievement and just your pure authenticity. Jerry McGuire better watch his back, he’s about to be replaced! Well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amit, thank you. Your words mean so much...
I agree!!
true very true
A thousand TED talks? you are committed to TED!
When you have the right mindset, then you will look for every single learning opportunity and learn. That is the key to growth and to success. Great talk because it spreads an extremely important lesson/point for parents, teachers and leaders.
Exactly, the best know there is always more to learn!
yes true, the mind can master anything
It's everything isn't it!
MINDSET MATTERS!
yes I agree.
"stop focusing on the competition against others and start focusing on competing against yourself." this sums up so much of what we should be striving for as people.
This is why I love TED, we get to see great powerful women speak, and what makes it different from men, is authenticity. Beautiful Molly, just beautiful, women are strong too, stronger than men!
Thank you Sue.
@@MollyFletcherCo I really got this, thanks Molly, It lit a fire under me!
"people who don't just get there, but stay there." This. Maintaining is such an important part of success.
So true Ethan!
This makes so much sense to me... I hate when I do things good and people tell me "it's because you are smart." I always said, "Noooo. It's because I try hard."
Honestly when I've thought of being successful, I've always thought about it in a bigger picture kind of way but I am definitely understanding how that can hinder me long term! Thank you Ms Fletcher, this is an incredible talk.
I love seeing stories of daughters who have been motivated so positively from their fathers. Good talk.
Luisa, thank you. Great Dad no doubt.
i love this type of things too!
I'm shaping my mindset everyday and it's helping me see my weakness grows into a strenghtness day by day....
Helping others to grow and evolve and become their best version of themselves is always important. Great job . Having an Evolved Mentality for Success is too important.
I needed this today, feeling flat being back at work wondering where I fit? Listening to Molly I feel like I fit where I want to fit. Thank you!
Thanks for forwarding this to me Tara!
Same same Tara good link to send me!
She is so right. I’m training for a half ironman triathlon. At my age it’s a long road and I know the celebration after crossing the finish line is a short lived event. It’s too much work for too little reward so you have to enjoy the process of getting a little better everyday. Get just 1% better everyday and see what happens!
Exactly!
Molly, this put a fire in my belly that I haven't felt in so long! Thank you!!
I was praised for being smart for 15 yrs as a child and lo I failed in my Law entrance exam. It was heart breaking and now I still have time to change things before someone overestimates it.
so true Katarina! keep going
I love how many of her stories are like 'I don't know if they really wanted that or they were just trying to get rid of me.' lol such tenacity.
"No" is just feedback and feedback helps you get better!
Very powerful, mind transforming and if you think about it, "go out into the world and do something so you can talk about it". Sometimes its the simple stuff that gets you off the sofa.
Could be one of the most straightforward and powerful talks on mindset. Molly takes it to the next level. You know if only schools taught this we might solve a lot of this countries issues.
VERY TRUE
This womans energy is incredible! So magnetic and powerful. Very pleased to have come across this talk as she is easy to be inspired by.
Thanks for an awesome talk on the importance of mindset! You are one of those persons that are needed everywhere! This talk gave me a real boost of inspiration!
So happy to hear it! Hope this did help ;)
Inspirational! It gave my own personal struggles hope. Thank you
This talk has me so fired up! I don't know if it's her voice or her energy but she is definitely motivating me to go out and live!

I absolutely love your AUTHENTIC delivery, Molly! Your content captures the essence of success. A perfect example of following Mr. Ziglar’s guidance. I met you at The Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens a few years back as you keynoted for their Professional Women’s Day. Bought your book, A Winner’s Guide to Negotiating, and chatted a bit after the event. Happy to share your awesome 18min of wisdom! Many thanks for your inspiration. 👏👌
Thank you for staying connected...loved the Prof Women's Day events.
Powerful words and thoughts! Love the Zig material!
A champion has the courage to risk failure, knowing that setbacks are lessons to be learned. this video is a product of a global approach to performance.
Wonderful part about her father setting her on the path of a champion. I hope to be that person for my children.
Brilliant! Thank you Molly Fletcher :)
This actually made me realize that I should put so much effort in order to achieve what I want in my life. I am so glad I stumbled upon this video, it really made an impact in my life.
Such fierce determination, even at that age! Well done Molly, it's clear you were destined for success.
Thank you for reminding us we are responsible for our own outcomes and how we not only train our body but our minds.
I needed to see this. Thank you.
So glad you enjoyed it!
I love what she says around the 6:20 mark, just reaffirms all that stuff abut being better than the person you were yesterday.
Really impressive presentation!
One sentence in particular really resonated with me (when you were speaking about the ‘best’): “They don’t have a rear-view mirror” 👍🏼
No rear view mirror - just big windshield :)
I quite like you Molly Fletcher! From the practices picked up from your Father, to the Zigs of Zig, naturally driven by Sport & Performance, going out and doing something so you could talk about it and then delivering your observations & secrets like its just another fantastic energetic day here on earth. You are a wonderful role model.
I believe the amount of time we spend believing we can't is more than enough time to learn how you can. This is an amazing talk Molly, thanks!
yes!!!
Loved this, Molly! Thank you for taking the time!
Thank you for phenomenal presentation :D
There is something behind these mindsets that motivates us to choose one or the other, the wish to be good. If we wish to be good (i.e selfless and work for the betterment of society) we will choose the right mindset naturally.
I am an artist, and people often say how they wish they were that talented or could do what I do- My response Is always ‘It is honestly just practice and tears’. Natural talent for anything is rare, persistence and dedication to something you aren’t naturally good at is even rarer, but by far more inspiring and empowering.
Incredible video has motivated me too much since you are absolutely right, we should always have a champion mentality and thanks to these secrets I can know it, thanks to you for sharing it, I loved it and I recommend it.
Even if I don't understand mainly what you said , but I have understood that , whatever comes in life on our way we need to overcome what situation is hard for us .
Loved it, thank you!!
This was wonderful. Especially as a parent and an entrepreneur. wow
loved it too
We can have a growth mindset at any stage of our life!
Keep the drive alive. Amazing words of good wisdom Molly!
Jason, thank you!
Great, thanks for sharing this video, I needed this
‘Complacency is accompanied by unawareness’. This struck something and got me thinking.
great speech! Love this type of motivation
saving. sharing. feeling this!!
Most of our cases of disappointments happened because of the ungrateful feeling when you expect the good things from others but they didn't appreciate your help or work after that your mind is remind you that lots of people didn't deserve your presence with them suddenly you begin to hate the outside of society and getting ill person.
Great talk.
Sharing this for sure, heaps of great advice here.
I really needed this after the day I've had. I got knocked so far down I don't know how I'll get back up, this video has helped me so much I need to pick myself up just because I'm at the bottom now doesn't mean I'll always be.
Thank you veeeeery much !
Great talk, thank you!
I am a college student and from my personal observations of my peers, and myself i am a strong believer in this idea of " mindset" the mind is a very powerful tool and if manipulated correctly, it can bring you to incredible pinnacles.
Love it, there's so much passion and earnestness in her voice it's hard to not feel the force of what drives her!
Couldn't agree more, mindset is everything.
wow I loved the content, it was really all I needed to hear! It showed me a lot of things I wasn't seeing.
A great content thanks for sharing this video and also how the champ mindsets.
wow I loved this ted talk
Very informative video thank you for sharing

Great talk!!!!
Absolutely great video, I'm very glad to see this, thanks for sharing
Completely and absolutely inspiring to me!
Well done 👌🏽👏🏽
That's incredible. I think the most powerful aspect is how she phrased, applied, and exemplified the concepts. It's so simple, yet so powerful.
This really does explain why a lot of people fail, while feeling like "something special". In that sense I know people who would "rest on their laurels" thinking that they cannot fail. And when they do the result is a severe inferiority complex. Molly, your talk really points this out clearly, and provides the solution. Thanks.
Bravo Molly! Fabulous presentation and lessons for everyone at all ages!
John, thank you!
Really amazing, thank you for share this video, exactly what I needed
I kinda wish this talk was longer, giving more details about the studies conducted and how conclusive their results were.

I love this womans voice! Haha she's probably the most American person I've ever heard but I'm actually really enjoying it.
This is such a great video to learn and understand human behavior. A shared idea on the subject for people like me. High performing and "here let me sabotage this for you." This is about pushing through and challenging a 'set mind' far different from mindset. This can be used for all walks of life!
The value of this video is immeasurable.
Definitely needed this. What a Legend. Thank you, Molly
This is amazing!!! I have such great respect for anyone who puts their own wheels in motion to be great at trying to change their life big or small.
Motivation is the driving force by which we achieve our goals, when our motivation lacks, so too does our accomplishments.

This Champion mindset thing is EXACTLY what I need. I never understood why I couldn't bring myself to achieve anything if I didn't get it right the first time, and to be honest it always bothered me. But this makes sense, and I'm going to start working on it. Thank you!
Excellent video, I have learnt something about the I think and now know I need to change my way of thinking..
