- In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. So much of what limits us is our own minds -usually manipulated by the others around us not on our path. LOVE the know your why and you can solve any how!! I actually left grad school at Emory to save the world. All I need to do is get someone to listen to me. That’s hard because I just liked thinking about things and other people generally held me back from that. I have no social skills. Took me 20 years to figure out what makes people tick so I might actually have a chance! My why is that I love life and want it to succeed. Thrive. Grow. I long ago accepted my own transient nature so it’s great to think that I can make a difference regardless. My big obstacle was that the world didn’t make a place for someone like me. That’s pretty big. It’s like being born as a cosmic joke, and your parents thinking that you will never survive but you insist and they say ok on the grounds that it might be humorous. So yeah, similar stories. 😳🤷♀️
