The Roman pot is spectacular! A humble little time traveler that has landed in your hands after being lost for 2,000 years. You guys not only find wonderful things but you appreciate the magic of connecting with the epic past of England through lost, buried, humble, tossed away items. It is the coolest thing and I really appreciate being able to tag along on these adventures. Thank you so much.

To find something that's a couple of hundreds years old is amazing but to find something that's 2000 years is a wow moment what a great find.

Some excellent finds for an enjoyable day on the mud. Andy, we are so very pleased that you have finally found a WHOLE Roman pot, and what a beauty. As you said, to actually hold something that old brings on so many thoughts of the people who may have used it; very humbling.

Oh really wonderful news on the little Roman very S.P.Q.R !treasure trove indeed .The wobbly top bot arrived but have not opened as my Christmas gift to me the colours on THE pot are just perfect well done ,and keep squelching ,as someone said "you know it makes sense"

my parcel of pretty little finds arrived this morning thanks so much! l love them and am so grateful because l would never be able to get out and look for finds. my granddaughters (both 2 years old) have collected and given to me stones and a small piece of wood from a small branch. very funny, no one asked the girls to collect them.
