I twisted my ankle about a month and a half ago, and my busy lifestyle made it impossible to even recover properly, so I was so happy to have fully healed, and finally get back on the court! In fact, it's because of you that I never give up and keep my passion for the game alive! Thank you Vee for denying the naysayers and ignoring the haters! You are the reason why you've been my favorite since I was 8.

Venus it was a hero’s performance. You got up and finished what you started no matter the pain and circumstances. You’re teaching these youngsters to never ever give up. The first 2-3 games, I was like OMG Vee unlocking another level--it was amazing, and then the 2-0 AD point happened. I was gutted for days, but I’m glad she’s set to compete again later this summer, so hoping for speedy recovery Vee 🎾🤔❤️ Vee had a shot to be up 3-0 against an eventual Semifinalist!

Venus did not comment about her right knee. Even before she did hurt it more, she seemed unconfortable when moving. Svitolina is a great competitor, but nevertheess Venus was in the game and gave a good resistance. I can't wait to see her playing in Montreal in 3 weeks. Hopefully, she will be hill completely. I was so heartbroken when I saw you fall at Wimbledon but I really hope you can get your health back on track and it hopefully it can stay that way. Venus , I'm a high level club player in UK, but I go through similar struggles as you , ( in a minor way:) - your video has really helped me understand my losses. I was on a win streak, then a loss streak, but the loss was to someone I beat 1st. The ups and downs are really a metaphor for the game of life. You have brought so much joy, wisdom and exuberance to my childhood and now grown up years. Thank you!

Venus it was a hero’s performance. You got up and finished what you started no matter the pain and circumstances. You’re teaching these youngsters to never ever give up. The first 2-3 games, I was like OMG Vee unlocking another level--it was amazing, and then the 2-0 AD point happened. I was gutted for days, but I’m glad she’s set to compete again later this summer, so hoping for speedy recovery Vee 🎾🤔❤️ Vee had a shot to be up 3-0 against an eventual Semifinalist!

I started playing tournaments again after 15 years and was following your emotions along all these matches + the injury… i don’t know how you got back up and kept going!! Its so hard to feel calm when the ball flies so quickly, so easy to overplay, overguide, loose body weight balance.. but you did it! ❤❤

Please Please Please rest and get over your injury even if you have to skip USO!!! We want to see you on the court again so bad but injury free and no taping! Be able to move well was always one of your best strengths! Whenever you do get back on court….keep doing whatever you’ve been doing with your serve because it’s looking stronger than it has in a couple of years! Hey, V! I can’t believe I’m up at 03:00 to post this. The joys of being on the other side of the world! Seeing you on court again is a gift I do not take for granted and I’m grateful for the effort you put in and for giving us that. I was hoping I’d run into you in the Wimbledon practice courts but I discovered Security does not allow more than a visit to the Wimbledon museum and only a view of Centre Court from a distance. I did manage to see Mirra Andreeva at Roehampton though. The injury? I’m sorry I’m not able to talk about that for now. The hair colour? I’d love you as much with a clear-shaven head! Incidentally, would you have turned your head if I had called out “Hey, V. Much love from South Africa!”? I wonder!

Venus did not comment about her right knee. Even before she did hurt it more, she seemed unconfortable when moving. Svitolina is a great competitor, but nevertheess Venus was in the game and gave a good resistance. I can't wait to see her playing in Montreal in 3 weeks. Hopefully, she will be hill completely. What about a game against Woznacki to start the tournement?
