More, please. Your play-throughs are always enjoyable, and AHCG is the Bast’s meow. Great to see a FA run, too. I thought it was a great campaign.
John Gonzalez glad you enjoyed it!
Good to see you playing my favorite campaign so far in the AHLcg series. I like seeing how others deal with the trials presented. Believe me Mike, those XP are to be treasured. I really hope you continue this play through.
If I can find the time between new coverage and our end of the year lists, I will!
Please do more AH play throughs! Especially scenarios from later expansions - this is the first time I’ve seen a high quality play through from anything after the Dunwich cycle.
Mark Edler I might do some more plays of this campaign. And colin and I are doing a dual-play of the recent hotel side scenario.
Awesome :)
This is my favorite cycle. Great to see you playing Arkham LCG, Mike!
Great to BE playing. I've missed it :)
Oh! Yeah! My favorite game!
Mine too ;)
If I'm not mistaken, the bottom symbols of the location card indicate where you can go from your current location.14:53 You could have moved from the Circuitous Trail to the Rope Bridge because the moon symbol was at the bottom.
Good catch!
@@OneStopCoopShop Hey thanks for the preview into The Forgotten Age, there's no way I'm brave enough to jump into that campaign yet. Looks like a nice change of pace though
@@Jimmothy it can be VERY punishing, especially early on. "Hey, you want some trauma? How about LOTS of it!?"
Paranoia does leave you with one resource since you gain it after drawing the weakness.
TFA is BRUTAL, especially solo. Best of luck.
Thanks! And glad to hear I played Paranoia correctly.
I enjoy Terraforming Mars, Wingspan, Pandemic: Fall of Rome, and Thunderstone Quest solo.
Yes Thunderstone Quest solo is super fun but I like to play it two handed.
Haven’t played wingspan yet. Thunderstone Quest was more fun solo than coop for me.
The best cycle for Arkham Horror LCG. Get ready for some fun times ahead Mike...
Gustave154 I’m ready!!
Hey, nice playthough. I recently got into this game and love it! What playmat are you using? I really like it.
Kobus Brits it was from a Kickstarter (which has since completed). The link is at the top of the video info though, in case they have late pledges or preorders or the like. It’s definitely nice!
@@OneStopCoopShop Fast fingers! Thank you. It looks great, enjoy it :)
Hope to see some more Aeons's End or Arkham Horror: The Card Game videos soon.
Enjoy!
Thank you for sharing! It is interesting how some games click for a person and some don't. I enjoyed Robinson Crusoe, and found it a bit easy. But, then Nemo's War always kicked my butt, so I sold it. Marvel Champions is a bit higher on my list, but I understand you not caring for certain aspects. I lean more toward having the deck pre-made, with minor adjustments. LOTR LCG has so many cards, building a deck becomes mind numbing to me. :-) But, don't get me wrong - I like LOTR LCG a lot.
yeah TFA is very hard btw, although it's one of the best campaigns for replayability!
I'm getting that sense :). But feeling good that I got through the first scenario with 0 vengeance. I figure pissing Yig off can only make things worse.
@@OneStopCoopShop Evade is your friend in this cycle
Don’t I know it!
This is from a long time ago but damn I need to know where you got that players mat.
Oh crud... it was a Kickstarter campaign, but there are so many of them I can't find the specific one.
But if you do a search for "arkham horror playmat" you should find a ton of similar options from places like Etsy.
Nice Job! Quick question, if playing solo in the base game, can I choose 2 characters? Or is it better to stick with just one.. I just ordered the base game today! :)
I switch back and forth between 1 character and 2. 2 characters lets you try out fun pairs and combinations, but it's a little more to manage. 1 character is very smooth to play, but you are a little limited in the builds you can try since you somewhat need to be able to do everything on your own.
@@OneStopCoopShop Thank you as usual ! ! !
First, I join with the chorus of voices asking for MORE! So many play-throughs lack the smooth, seamless flow of this one and are frustrating to watch. Two suggestions: Maybe the addition of some atmospheric mood music as background would add to the story. And don't hesitate to pause just a moment or two to explain your choices a bit. Tough to do, I know, without impacting the smooth flow I praised earlier, but not all of us are as effortlessly familiar with the mechanics and nuances of the game. I think the play-through should have some element of teaching involved.
But, really....I look forward to future plays, please!
Kevin Lause good suggestions! I could try to do a little soundtrack. Sounds fun to play around with...
