- Shane brought his lifted 2006 Chevy 2500 HD Duramax in to have us install our 00-10 WFO GM HD 6" SAS KIT. Not only did we install our Solid Axle kit, we partnered that up with some Fox Shocks, 37-inch tires on Trail Ready wheels, 263 transfer case swap, our shackle flip, and so many other goodies. It doesn't get much better than this.

I’ve taken my 06 gmc 2500 to WFO and had them put on a 3 inch kit and 37’s. They do phenomenal work!
How much did that run roughly
@@TheMustang781well the kit alone is $4k, not including axles or steering box brace. Figure another $1k for used axles. I'm guessing at least 10k with labor, not including wheels/tires

What dose that 271 transfer case come out of and do you guys have everything to make it fit the Allison
How would this work for hummer? Same as the 2500 setup?
I'm curious to know if you have a long arm setup for a 2nd Gen Ram 1500 4x4 with a D44 front axel?
Did you use the rear diff of the duramax? Same gear ratio as the ford solid axel?
I wander how much this runs out the door. I can tinker and swap parts out but my welding is far too limited to come with any
confidence.

I would love to see you guys do a 07 to 13 Suburban or Tahoe. They already have 5 link rear suspensions with coil springs. Please make it so, there’s a billion of us that want the solid front axle swap. Do you guys ever use ORI’s?

Any issues with this 6” kit for the big block gas truck? I’m thinking about this for my 2001 that has a 8.1L/Alison.
Same but mines a 2wd
I'm going to have to do this if you go to 6 inch or bigger I'm just staying 3 to 5 because then you have to change your actual ratios and yada yada

Does turning radius improve with the SAS?
In this case, yes!
Are the 05 f axle all time 4wd or are they old school locking hubs wher you can disconnect axle frome the wheels
They have manual locking hubs.

I had to do some sorcery to make the 2500 kit work on my 1500hd 😂
What kind of sorcery? I'm thinking about it for my 1500hd
@@rubbersidedownrc2307 a lot I’m still not done I just got the axle mounted and all is good now got to pull the passenger side knuckle to have it sent off for crossover steering I don’t want to run hydro steering on the road I’m going to use it as a daily driver
