Tbf, even if we categorize obsessions from 1 to 10, he would be somewhere up in 15. I mean, he was happy to die to such beautifully formed magical flames in his previous life.
The only thing keeping him at any form of grounded is the people and family around him. And that is only to the point that he won't destroy the planet.

We've had a lot of OP main characters in our time. It is refreshing to see a main character who revels in how OP they are. Basking in it only a gamer who wants to dominate the game's previous playthrough bosses can.
May I recommend The Eminence in Shadow, the main character is fully aware of how op he is, and enjoys it.
I think it's less that he revels in how op he is (though clearly he knows it) and more that he is completely insane.

@@theonewayroad3867 he's aware of how powerful he is, but anything past that is beyond what he wants to comprehend. I'm pretty sure he's not even aware of what his own organisation does, or why they do it.
@Not_interestEd- he generally assumes their larping with him, and everyone in Shadow Garden is just humoring him in his game. Like his monolog when his sister subtly mentions the power she's gained sealed in her right hand, he instantly thinks that his sister has awakened her "chunni" phase.
Unlike Lloyd, it's not that he doesn't care it's that he's too insane to care. In volume 5, we learn that he hates his own birthday because it's another year that he hasn't become the "Eminence in Shadow" despite literally already being the "Eminence in Shadow".
This dumb little comedy is animated so much better than it needs to be and I love it

I love the voice of Pazuzu, you can hear he had fun recording those lines, Pazuzu has both scary and funny sides that makes him iconic. Great work for the VA, I want to hear him more!

Legit Pazuzu is just like "Hell No!" with that voice line. He is absurdly terrified xd.
I knew it would be great animated but that face was just gold.
I just want to see all the overpowered reincarnated/summoned/isekaied/whatever protagonists fight each other in a free for all death battle. A bunch of them reached the level of or beyond a god in their universe, so I’m curious to see protagonist is the most protagonist of all.
Except the instant END kid, he would be like that kid in the playground who made sure their character never lost and always won every fight because they can.

The only strategy I can think of to beat him is bribing him with significant amount of snacks and video games if he quits/stays out of it.

Its just that the monsters around him are super intelligent and will do anything that makes Ainz has the best chance of success whether it means skinning humans or starting war. And Ainz will accept because he doesn't have human emotions anymore. If he had allies that were genuinely good people and solved things peacefully then he would still accept.

I like the fact that his ribbon that is tied on his hair breaks and uh, grim, is start holding it. A lovely moment, it may be small but it's cute.

The thing is, in this anime, every single main character is curvy and there's plenty of fanservice from the two main girls.
And yet Lloyd is animated with excessive detail on his lips when he goes all out.
If Loyoid can cast about twenty spells without Grim wouldn't that mean with Grim he can cast about fourty spells. Yea Pazuzu really should have kept his mouth shut on the whole demons are unaffected by human magic thing.

I don't know if it would scale up like that since Lloyd did mention it included spells he had on Standby, I'd say Grim would probably give him a 50% boost to 30 spells at once since Grim would mainly help him chant new spells
They are physically unnafected, so something that is a bomb to a human is just a flashbang for a demon.

Actually no, Lloyd still scares him like all his other opponents. But unlike when facing the demon lord, Lloyd doesn't really just get bored with him and call him on it.
