Use a little dish soap, just a drop, spit on your hand, or use a spray bottle with some water, on the handlebar and the grip will just slide on. In a short amount of time; less than you might think, the grips will be solid. You have enough time to adjust the angle of the grips and let them set. When you want to take them off, you just add a little water into the inside end of the grip and the soap will be back to a lubricant. Been doing it for years. Dish soap goes from being a lubricant to an adhesive and back to a lubricant. And It won't cost you anything, unless you never clean your dishes. Love my Malus just converted to a ebike and all I changed on it besides the back wheel was Rockshox suspension forks, suspension seatpost and the crank set. Now it's a 72v 3000w beast

Hello again- I have the Malus, got it yesterday. What is the screw in the brake lever used for? Also, my brake levers are tight as hell, I guess I need to figure out how to adjust them.
Hey brother, there are a few screws in the levers but you may be referring to what is called a real adjustment screw it just determines the amount of distance the lever has between the handlebar.

9:22 those are bar end plugs, as the name suggest it plugs the ends of the bars.
Johannes Nilsen those aren’t just any ordinary bar end plugs, they are GEO end plugs and they “keyed” and are designed to prevent the guard from rotating during a impact.

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS the new guar over the guard arch is a good idea more protection the better I was wondering if that will come.
Be sure and keep an eye on the welds where the frame tubes join the head tube. Some frames are not rated for triple clamp forks and how stiff they are compared to a single crown fork. I have heard of frames literally snapping at or near the head tube. Just a word of caution. Ride safe.

I’m thinking you guys should do a tubeless conversion video on that MONSTER! Not only will it save a TON of weight but you won’t have to worry about getting a FLAT tire nearly as often. Those tubes are CRAZY heavy and the bike will pedal better as well. Try weighing two tubes and it may get you thinking about TUBELESS...
Maybe a video series? But man oh man have you seen the price of a tubeless fat tire wheelset! Maybe a sponsor can supply! Would love to go tubeless for the weight purposes, maybe I otta take the kickstand off?:)
WOLFTICK VIDEOS you don’t need to buy a tubeless wheelset, all you need to do is tape the inner wall of the rim and mount the tire with sealant and a tubeless valve... it’s sometimes called GHETTO tubeless. I’d definitely do a little homework before trying.

Man do not think it is removable, it has been a long time but we have since sold the fork that came on the Malus. The triple tree we installed came with one and I remember thinking, well that is great because I had no idea how we were going to remove the old one off the fork. Sorry totally new to fat tire bikes but can I use the stock disc brake caliper on that new fork. That fork looks beefy! Also can I use the stock bearing?
Totally can man! The only thing is there is a keeper for you to run the housing through on the fork itself but you can just ziptie it to it to avoid cutting anything, thats what I did!! It will switch over like butter man and keep everything in order when putting back together as well, ha ha hope it goes good and hope you use the affiliate link!! Fork is rigid and the bearings are 1-1/8

My 2019 Malus has stock fork.
I was leaning to a Bolany Air/Oil Suspension fork w/ lockout, but not sure if it's needed.
(Please if anyone reading this has added one OR can confirm / deny I welcome your comment)
On an FB, the tires ARE the suspension - but that Micargi just looks GREAT.
Are there any downsides to it ?

Hey mother goose! You deserve a heart very funny😂😂😂 so thanks for that, now when it comes to the micargi forks the only benefit would be looks!!! They are sweet and get so many looks. Now they do provide a little more direct feel to the wheel as opposed to the stock forks, so that can be considered an upgrade I guess. The suspension is definitely tire based so playing with the pressures is fun! Not against the bolanys but I don't think I can get that fork now because the look just wont be the same ha ha. The stock rigid fork imparts a very "transmittive" feel thru the handlebars to rider.
I was concerned the suspension fork might eliminate that direct feel.
If the Micargi is even more stiff then it might even enhance that "Transmittive" feel even more + add visual tough factor.
Tire pressure is a huge aspect: Root & rut trails beg for 8-10 psi. Smoother technical trails 10-12, Gravel fire roads 12-16.
Pavement 16-20.
Carrying a digital gauge helps dual it in.
Ok my 'bonus Upgrade' is I've gone to a 9 speed Freewheel 14-42 in back while retaining the stock Wheelset.
With a 32T JG Bike Front Chainring.
So it's now a climbing champion.
I just wish this 9 S 14-42 Freewheel was easily available as an aftermarket part.
You've gotta swap it over from a Hyper Explorer HT or Full Suspension 29er which come stock with a 1 x 9 setup.
I discovered this after I had both bikes.
I'm like: this light 30# MTB doesn't NEED that dinnerplate of gears but the 44# Malus SURE COULD use em !
Viola...swap in progress. Working VERY well.
If you watch my video link above you'll see it with the Sunrace Mega Drive 13-34 8 speed / Acera Deraileur / Rapid Fire Shifter.
All that is now on Hyper Explorer HT and the 9 S 14-42 Freewheel, Rear Derailleur & Shimano 9 Altus Trigger Shifter is on the Malus.
I was gonna test a month before doing a video.

Thanks for the inspiration. I went out purchased a Malus and doing my bike as well. I would like to know if you or anyone has suggestions on a better bottom bracket and crank set. I would love to upgrade and get away from the square taper. Any suggestions?
Man we got one that a viewer sent us. Dont know if it will fit but try and make sure to have your notifications on man, its a hollow setup but not too sure if it will fit the malus:) Hopefully someone can help you, it is a pain to find the right sizes! Well first of all thank you, it seems the conversion works well according to other CZcamsrs:) Now the upgrades are great and still are working fine, if I would change anything it may be a trigger shifter over the twist but not a big deal and it works!! I’m all about Safety and fox makes the best Mountain bike pads I used fox 🦊 and it’s the best out there it’s pricey but you can’t put price on safety and you look amazing wearing fox 🦊 race gear 😉

Actually the Malus is our first fat tire bike. I looked up that Juneau and I can't seem too find a difference, other than the color. If you know anything different then please let us know. Thanks for commenting man.
Hopefully you guys are still reading the comments. Nice mods to the bike, BTW. Can you tell me the length of the forks on the Malus, please? I cannot seem to locate the exact forks on eBay or anywhere else. I can find the chopper version, but I think they are too long. Granted, I could cut them to fit. Getting really good at it. I always use the CSC bike, It's cheap and they Keep the parts in order so you don't have to Do electrical engineering. Batteries on e bay are only 100$ now. I like them hand Guards I just smashed my camera and headlight, Jumping a log. It'll be my 2nd camera in a few years. gotta find some protection for them.

2:49 these are not just handlebars ,but yea, handlebars can be quite decently priced, and it's easy to get proper handlebars, no need to buy fake stuff, good you got Race Face, even 6000series aluminium will be strong enough for mtb, so will 7000series be. I am sure you will be able to put some serious beating to them. crashes, drops, direct impacts, it should handle it all.
yes you can compromise on cockpit but be smart about it, never go for fake products, only go for tested products.

I'm thinking about getting these forks, only worry is that my front tire has 150mm hub spacing, so about 6 inches and I was just wondering if that would fit or not? Thanks for the vids, you guys are awesome.
Well thanks so much for the kind words brother, now i checked on axle spacing and it measures 5 3/8" so maybe not if your running a 6" or so:(

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS i have four, one BMX redline, a specialized hard tail mountain bike and two fat bikes. I don't know what the brand is on the one but the other is a Kodiak I think lol, budget bikes. I'm planning on making one of them really nice and selling the other. Ive decided I'm going to get the forks and maybe just swap the tires. Idk I have lots of work to do on my bikes so we'll see how it goes.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS the Kodiak is the one with the weird 6 inch spacing. Didn't want to swap the rims but desperate times call for desperate measures lol. Plus I love these forks.

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Hey Guys - this is Sean @ GEO. The original "MTB" guards are 105 g per side (= same weight as 3.5 oz of water) We didn't weigh the MAX guards yet - They are more about MAX safety and protection vs saving a few grams. Of note, they both easily float in water......

I have two Malus already and just purchased a third. It was a return and I picked it up for 140. Got it home and found out the front fork is either a defect or bent from the factory. I am subscribed and looked in your videos and came upon this one. Great info! Unfortunately the fork is out of stock. Any thoughts on other forks that will fit the Malus? I would love the one you featured but not sure when it will come back... want to sell your stock fork? BTW great videos. Just burned an hour going through them!

or have exactly same wheels with different tyre setups, and just swap wheels. but that will get expensive, I have 3 wheel sets, but I need it, cus I can damage one, one might need truing, I use 3 different tyre types I I can be in process of changing tyres, use mud, fast rolling, studded, now it probably will be a lot of mud tyre use, and maybe in few months or weeks studded tyres. but really I need new rims on two wheel sets cus I smashed them pretty hard.

There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with a heavier bike by a few pounds. I never understand what the hubbub is about when people are worried about a pound or two or even a few ounces heavier. It builds muscles, and besides, back in the day, all bikes were heavier and we did just fine with them. You can still set records with them and the usually are stronger than lighter bikes if made right.

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I have a Juiced Ripcurrent S fat ebike which will be sporting the Bucklos fork soon thanks to you. Like a lot of new fat ebikes on the market, it came stock with a Mozo Fatman suspension fork... they worst sus fat fork money can buy. The only good featch on it is the lockout, which says it all.
Very cool sounding bike man, would be very entertaining seeing dad on one!! Awesome that the Bucklos work:)
