Victoria, If you have a cool climate then you can keep it outside, but if it's hot then better to keep it in the refrigerator 🙂

We will place them in a plate
Carmen, Are you asking where to keep the dough after rolling it? Yes, you can keep it on a plate, no problem. I hope, I understood your question correctly 🙂
Can we use any kind of banana to make buns?
Yes Bibiana, you can use any type of banana that is over ripe and sweet 🙂
Instead of white sugar, can I add jaggery powder. Because I don't take white sugar at all.
Yes Fatima you can add jaggery powder no problem 🙂

Thank you so much 🙂
Can we keep the batter in the fridge to fry the next day
Bibiana, Yes you can do that no problem 🙂
How many days can we keep the buns after frying.
Bibiana, You can keep it in the refrigerator for one or two days. But it's best to eat it hot just after frying. 🙂
Can i make buns without baking soda
Akshata, You won't be able to make buns without baking soda as it will not be fluffy.
This is prepared in mangalore also
Shyamala, these are also called Mangalore buns. In Goa they are called Sweet Buns. Don't really know where the recipe originally came from???
Origin from Mangalore @@GetCookingNow
Thanks for the information Ragini 🙂
Can you use knife to cut? And why cut in triangles if you makes a ball after? Would save time to just break of pieces and roll
Lackshme you can definitely use a knife to cut. We made triangles so that it is easier to divide the dough into 8 balls of equal size. If you can just break the balls into equal size you can go ahead & do that, no problem. 🙂
These are Mangalore buns...speciality of Mangalore only.
But yes, it's explained well..thanks!
Nina, Agree with you. Thank you so much 🙂
resting for 8 hours in the frigde or to keep outside
Luigin, You must keep it outside 🙂
Can it be made with wheat instead of maida
Shauna, Yes it can be made with wheat flour but I personally prefer the taste and texture when it's made with maida.
Not Goan but Mangalore Buns
Colleen, I've already mentioned Mangalore buns in the title. In Goa they are sold as Sweet buns 🙂
I thought this was a Mangalorian recipe
SD, It is a hot favourite in Goan Tea selling restaurants and is called Sweet buns in Goa. The recipe for Mangalore buns is also very similar.
@@GetCookingNow never had it in Goa....do you get it in bakeries?
Nice,
What v used to buy from store
Can easily made at home
Yes, Jocyleen. You can now make & enjoy them at home 🙂
SD, no you don't get it in Bakeries. It is locally available in Goan restaurants which sell Tea time snacks 🙂
