    These lights are AWESOME!!! I just installed them on my 2010 Prius and the difference is incredible. I can see where I'm going now! The driver side replacement was a breeze, but the passenger side was a much tighter fit, so if you know someone with smaller hands, have them on standby haha.

  • @bmartin4822

    At minute 1.19, easy to see that the connectors are NOT identical. The LED connector is not keyed to assure that positive and negative poles are aligned properly. There is no tab inside the LED connector as there is in the halogen OEM vehicle connector. Necessary to test the poles of the vehicle connector with a voltmeter before connecting to assure proper polarity.

      It doesn’t if it’s illegal or not.
      Just get ur hands on led bulbs to see better, and be seeing better at night.
      I mean Prius comes with halogen or HID from the factory.
      So they won’t tell the difference.

      @@AllisonShort I racked my brain! watched a bunch of YT vids and neither quite answered this question! my Prius has 2 peripheral light bulbs and those are the main ones that are on all the time (they seem to be the LED ones). There's also 2 center ones, and they are only used as high beams. The below ones or fog lights or whatever at the level of the license plate are not in use so I don't care about them for now. Now in my case. the high beams are working fine. The peripheral ones are out. This video seems to have replaced the high beam with the peripheral ones? it added to my confusion. Can you please advise what I should do?

  • @declaimant
    @declaimant Před 3 lety +2

    This video is misleading. You only show the installation for the drivers side. It's far more difficult to install on the passenger side. You have to remove engine components to access the bulb.

      No, no you don’t. Just the air intake hose then you can get your hand around. Some believe you even have to remove the whole bumper.
