      Thank you for your interest. We are unsure exactly what you are asking when you reference "power staring". However, the installation process for your 2014 for the headlamps would be identical to as shown in the video.

    Do you guys happen to know how to hook that strip of lights right next to single bulb parking light?

    • @Denniss7420
      @Denniss7420 Před 4 lety

      2 years later: Those are fake. I suppose you could take the headlamp apart and intall 12 volt 3MM LEDs wired to the parking lights.

  • @ohiobenz

    drivers side is the easy one... show how you did the passenger side!

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 7 lety +2

      The passenger side would be virtually identical to the driver's side. The only difference is you may want to remove the coolant tank for easier access to the headlamp.

    Would the light shape still be the same? I'm concerned about the beam blinding the oncoming traffic.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 3 lety +2

      You do not have to worry about blinding oncoming traffic in a projector housing. There is a physical object inside of the housing which creates a solid cutoff line!

    I have 2011 toyota prius with projector beam halogen lights(yellow). Will these LED lights fit for the vehicle ??

      Yes, that is correct, the kit linked in the description is compatible with your 2011 Prius with halogen lights.

    In your website, this product is without a ballast. Is it the same product, just without a ballast? Thanks.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 7 lety

      We do have an H11 LED product, which does not come with a ballast. However, this would be more so for a vehicle's DRLs. The product that you would want to install on your headlamps is the kit with the ballast, which is linked in the description. This product is a much more powerful LED, and is 2-3x brighter than the H11 LED without the ballast.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 6 lety +1

      We appreciate the support! Our headlight LEDs would be ~6000 lumens each, so ~12,000 lumens total.

    Can we install HIDs in Prius 2012 low beam?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 5 lety

      We do not deal with HIDs, as HIDs are considered technology of the past. Our LEDs are brighter than HIDs, require less power, and last longer. Here is the proper kit for your 2012 low beam: goo.gl/iBdU6u

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 6 lety +1

      It sounds as though you are installing very low quality products on your vehicle. We believe we have the highest quality LEDs on the market, which we back with a lifetime warranty.

    do these new led lights blind oncoming drivers?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 5 lety

      There are many factors and many upgrades to headlight housings over the years that help mitigate any glare to oncoming drivers. It is more or less the color of the light which causes distraction and not the actual brightness intensity itself. If you notice, the most distracting lights to see on the road are the blue HID lights which cause a lot of glare for the human eye, whereas you probably never noticed the 6000K lights on the road because they are more natural to the human eye.

      I do apologize for the confusion, but the CREE H11 product is currently on backorder for week, so the product has been disabled. However, I would recommend checking back in a week or so, and it should be back up. We thank you for your patience.

    • @PrecisionLED

      Yes, the medal box down the wires is the ballast. A ballast is always required for high quality Canbus headlight LED products.

    is Led better than hid ?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 7 lety

      Both LEDs and HIDs do indeed have their own perks. Either can be brighter, depending on the quality of product purchased. We believe we have some of the highest quality products on the market today, which we back with a warranty. Also, LEDs are known to last slightly longer than LEDs.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 7 lety +1

      A tip to access the passenger side headlamp easier would be to move the coolant tank, which I believe can be moved simply by unscrewing a couple bolts.

    • @socalrws
      @socalrws Před 6 lety +1

      Yes, but the bracket near front for coolant tank is still in the way. It makes a nice dig into my upper thumb area with or without gloves.

    I cannot find lifespan expectancy or a lumen rating. Two very important things to me. If you want to sell these, I suggest you give your customers some details. I have to look elsewhere now.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 5 lety

      Thank you for your interest. We expect our LEDs to last the lifetime of the vehicle, which we back with a lifetime warranty. Also, our headlights project 2-3x brighter than your stock halogens, which would project ~8000 lumens.

  • @nowayjose3579
    @nowayjose3579 Před 6 lety

    Tip for the passenger side: partially remove the front bumper by unclipping the top panels and also the passenger wheelwells (1 10mm bolt and 1 clip). Headlight has 3 screws (2 top, the other is accessible by pulling down on the bumper to expose the side bolt. This is why you need to partially loosen the bumper), move the headlight unit an inch or two forward and this gives you access from behind to install the led bulb. The protruding coolant tank bracket makes install impossible, which is the reason for moving the headlight forward.
    Your welcome
