Bruh I saw this one fighting game that had the feature to take control of your character in the middle of replay, so you can correct your mistakes. That was an insane cool feature.
@@3ASY355 I cant remember the game, but the really cool thing about Tekken 8 is thatt will be a new feature as well! I think they said up to 30 seconds of any replay!

thanks a ton as always for your support!! I also would have loved to see more characters honestly, when they first announced the demo, thats what I thought the footage going around of reina and stuff were coming from, so I was a little disappointed haha
not sure if this was before or after the patch but i noticed a HUGE improvement in my Paul ghost when the patch hit. He would launch, heat burst, and then heat smash (because i taught him that first) but wouldn’t attempt a harder combo until the patch hit. now he copies literally everything i do right after me or the next round/game
If you mean during the demo, then yeah it is! I played against my AI the first night it went live on ps5, so if there were changes done when the PC version came out, I did not cover it sadly!
@@AveryxFGC all good, it just seemed like this was demo footage before patch. my Ghost acted the same way, he was good but definitely not as good as I expected. patch hit and i played it right after and he started picking up habits more often I noticed. excited for T8 and your content, earned my sub !

it feels so good on PC! I originally had to play it on ps5, because I never got into the PC beta, but it feels soooo much better on PC than ps5 haha

It’s a snoozefest again lol. Single player experience just does not matter to devs. They make so much effort to dumb it down for complete beginners that they completely forget experienced players exist too. Or they just expect you to go online Ionce you get good I guess.

The ai doesn’t have our decision making. That would be cool but if we think deep enough… it shouldn’t need to.
Yes, a player that knows how to 50/50 is more likely to go for a mid when health is low because the low is obvious and the opponent will crouch for us if we use the odd poke
But if the ai could at least record enough of our play style then it should be able to do those 50/50s by accident, the only thing being it wouldn’t know when a low is more beneficial than a mid
I just don’t think the ai is learning very much from us at all. It seems like when we press record, in practice mode, but it’s going out there and throwing in the odd moves.
I feel like it straight up needs to be force fed certain bits of tech.
The devs aren’t gunna go this far but maybe in Tekken 9 we could get serious AI.
For example they would need to go out of their way to give us a 50/50 select mode, where we record it with a button or just pick it from a move list. This way, when the ai is fending for itself we could never stop it from doing certain things… but then there’s gunna be a time when a certain opponent or distance makes that flowchart unwise and the ai would have to know better than to attempt any of that against a player with strong crushing moves that cancel the entire situation
you know what would be sick... having online ghost battles
my experience in the demo was that it couldnt compete and wasnt getting stronger at some point. hopefully its not the same in full version
real ai machine leaning maybe will show up in the next midgen refresh the ps5 pro with the rdna 3
hey, how did u acces super ghost battle? i dont have this mode on my version of ther demo, or is this not demo version at all?
after you beat the demo for arcade quest it becomes unlocked!

Try the panda in the super ghost battle. More competent ai.

Your own ghost seems shit at first but the more you play the more it does what you usually do.
Like i was convinced it wouldn't punish me or anything but after a chunk of matches it started punishing my df2 with 1,1,2s or twin pistons with b1,2 which is exactly how i was punishing in the latest matches.
I guess it doesn't block low too much because well
I never block low that much either, but at some point he ducked my ewgf and launched it so i guess the ghosts are gonna be much better the more we play
for sure! and because it reads your data from playing against players in ranked as well, the more situations we face in ranked (low spammers, hellsweep spam, etc.) I feel the more accurate the ai will be. Ive also noticed that the ghost ai that you can rematch with, the Steve seems to block hellsweeps a lot, it almost makes me think that certain ghosts were trained against certain characters, because its neat to see how one ai can not block anything low for the life of them, and then one ai that I have to actually mid check haha
I beat the shiteru out of mine for hours it doesn’t seem to progress past a certain point
I can see from little ques it doesn’t understand context it just stops learning and copies without logic.
It could still be good but it doesn’t even seem to record enough to win just based on recreating you flowchart perfectly (combos and pokes included)
What control method do you use? Im curious.

So what is the point of training your AI is it soo You can keep on trying to fight yourself too. Make yourself better. Or can you use the a I to farm resources for you???
you use it to make yourself better by learning your tendencies in certain situations, you can also play other players ghost ais, so if a friend of yours is better than you, you can practice with their ghost to learn habits they use in game! its pretty cool honestly

Seeing you almost never missing an input on a combo makes me feel dumb af xD I can´t do more than a three hit if my oponent is moving xD

I’ve only tried VS battle so far, instantly disappointed with how weak Ai is, that means the Ai in story mode is weak
I havent tried the ai in any mode other than super ghost battle and arcade quest, and in both of those modes the ai is supposed to be bad, since its the beginning of the game, but from how they are playing they feel much closer to real players than T7s ai
@@AveryxFGC i will give vs CPU more tries and see if ot can improve, if it won’t improve then i am dissapointed
So far the Ai is similar to tekken 7, it can’t do combos, it is not a challenge at all compared to older tekken games
