He should move on and leave her alone. He doesn’t like her, he just feels entitled to her. She was never “his girl” te begin with. He has no regards for her feelings and does not respect her. Broke contact in uni, went out partying and was with girls. Suggesting to meet up, then to ghost her while it was his idea.

he doesn’t really want her at all. he just has a sense of entitlement and his ego is hurt by the fact that she’s no longer making an effort despite being the one that would always make an effort - even just expecting her to dm YOU so that you can avoid the vulnerability of reaching out and potentially being rejected - you still want her to make the effort and continue that pattern of being the one to put herself out there. pls she’s not ‘your girl’ and she may not be single in any event. i hope she sees it for what it is
i actually think doing it through a podcast is really cowardly considering you have her socials and you aren’t blocked. it’s one thing coming here for advice but you weren’t (genuinely) asking for advice, you wanted to put her in the position of reaching out to you (as always) while benefitting from plausible deniability.

The audacity of him saying "my girl" and "we basically broke up" even though they've never been together... Sounds like he's reading a lot into it and claiming her without her agreeing just because they were close friends and she asked him on a date. Presumptuous in my opinion.
I hear you Sharon, if someone does me dirty, I forgive but i don't forget and i will put am at a distance from me because I need to protect my space. I am believe in the notion of, "if a person shows you who they really are, believe them", even when they say they have changed, I have a hard time believing that. i still put them at a distance to avoid being hurt and being disappointed by them.

I agree. I can forgive, but once you have done the crime, i can never disassociate. If you should do the same thing again, my mind will rush back to your previous offence. I wouldn't see it as a unique situation that i never expected. Instead, i would be like, you have done it before, you did it now, you will do it again. I can forgive you, but i expect this from you going forward. In my eyes, you can not be the same as before, even though i have forgiven you. That doubt will never extinguish, although i am not dangling the offence above your head.

I have to comment about the men who find out they lost 'the one' years later. Sometimes, you need to venture outside to appreciate what you have at home. I can only speak from my point of view. There is that added pressure of not being ready or feeling like you are not good enough for that person at that time. That's my two cents anyway. Love the pod, keep it coming ladies. 😁
No man or woman deserves to be am afterthought. Y'all treat the girls who do the same thing like crap and insult them. Every small thing "nice guys always finish last" or "you are done picking all the bad boys" and then use the for sex only. Don't expect grace when you wouldn't do the same if you were in her shoes
