Only problem is that the timing is literally perfect to where all the big clubs have full squads and if they want to bring someone like Wirtz or Frimpong in they’d have to get rid of someone else. And besides Wirtz the rest of the team isn’t superstar level. As a squad they come together perfectly but as individuals they’re pretty average. Speaks to how great a manager Alonso is both tactically and personally.

While there is a chance of this happening, it's less likely for Leverkusen. First Xabi stays at least another season, so many especially the young players like Wirtz will likey stay too. Second, Simon Rolfes the Managing director of Leverkusen is doing a really great job and planning ahead for the future, so for those who will leaving (likely Grimaldo and Frimpong, maybe Boniface), he is probably already looking for replacements together with Xabi. Just a reminder, in Germany there is the team manager and a managing director. The latter one is responisble for signing new players. Xabi and Rolfes seem to have great working relationship, so they will come up with a solution.
Also Rolfes stated, that only offers for Wirtz with at least 150 Mio. Euro will be considered. Since Wirtz has a contract till 2027 and no release-clause, he will stay.
Leverkusen finances are also pretty solid compared to many other clubs. This + Xabi + playing CL, they will be the no. 1 spot for great talents next season. And the backbone of midfield of Xhaka and Andrich will stay in Leverkusen, due to their age.

That’s different… Ajax plays in a league that’s compared to ligue 1 or the championship league so it’s only matter of time those players won’t stay themselves after proving what they are actually worth; Ajax don’t have the proper funds to keep them

The main problem for the future is.....when Xabi leave the club. Leverkusen will be back to his nature

Alonso will undoubtedly know this to be the case. But the manager will hope his lead is followed by his players by staying with the club and trying to make more history and give the CL there best shot.

A lot of the bayer leverkeusen players said they would leave to follow Xabi Alonso if he left so I assume that they will mostly stay loyal to him since he’s staying. In a few seasons I definitely think a lot of them will leave

Yes it’s true but most of these club like leverkusen and west ham just wants to get profits not to be big club because it’s to difficult to be a big club in these day so it’s a great thing to have a great team to sell them

I depends on them. Do they want to continue or rebuild by profiting money wise.
There are players that are once in a generation (talent) you can't replace. So if they sell they might need to forget about titles for the next 7 years or so.
