The objective is NOT to be "right" when standing before God on Judgment day, but to be humble and hungry to learn, every day, leading up to that day. *_No one is omniscient._* No one has God's full knowledge. *_THEREFORE:_* We all have more to learn. And, until we leave this physical universe, we will likely *_always_* have more to learn. After all, Christ said that the meek shall inherit the Earth -- not the "confident in their own interpretation." There is only one Truth, but while we live in this physical universe, it will only ever be a direction -- not a destination.

Wow incredible! Have you even re-read your own comment? "until we leave this physical universe ... the meek shall inherit the earth ... while we live in this physical universe, etc" So deluded and saturated by false doctrines you can't even distinguish reality and fantasy. Make up your mind, where exactly do you think you'll end up? And, more importantly is that where God plans to send you? God help us all.

I became militant and dogmatic about telling everyone but then realised God is infinite and I’m not. My particular denomination was started by people who were all not-trino’s but gradually since the 1930’s it has become firmly established. There are my non-tri I’d within my church but we’re written off as heretics. Was great to feel vindicated by someone from a different church. Also, very powerful for your church to be open to the conversation.

In looking closely at that early historical development it would have been important to mention those who objected to this new thinking like Arius. There are some today who agree with Arius's conclusions on Christology, especially as to when Jesus came into existence.

Personhood requires personal WILL. Jehovah has a Will , He is even written of to feel regret. Jesus has. Will of his own separate from Jehovah’s WILL as evidenced in his prayer in Gethsemone and evidently felt sorrow over the sadness of the loss of Lazarus. Emotions like compassion are in evidence for both. I have never found any scriptural evidence that holy spirit has a WILL. Or any emotional state.

The most important question a smart and honest Christian should ask him or her self is whose teaching will he follow? Is it Jesus, Paul, Theophilus, Tertulian, or Alexander or who? If a christian has to follow Jesus, then, he should be a monotheist believing in the one and only God, and condemning the Trinity.
In other words he or she must be submitting his life to God or being a muslim.

      1. Hear O Israel, the Lord, our God, the Lord is One. (The meaning is very very crystal clear, that Jesus is not God, and that God is one and only !)
      2. John 10:30 "I and the Father ARE one ARE of one." (This verse is either a concocted or a made up verse or must be understood metaphorically, since the word "one" cannot be the the final word, but there must have been an omitted word(s) as the full verse must sound like this : "I and the Father ARE (of) one party." Otherwise the two verses contradict one another, and any single contradiction annuls the Bible's status as the word of God.

It was only in the fourth century AFTER Christ that a pagan emperor grafted the Trinity into counterfeit Christianity, do you know why? Isaiah 45:5- This is the pre-mortal Jesus Christ talking. Did he forget that he had a father? "God" is often used as a designation of authority. Certainly there was no other "authority", since his father had given all authority to him regarding the earth. Then Jesus gave up that authority to come to earth and be born as a helpless baby. Then he was crucified, resurrected, and exalted to that authority he once had, on the right hand of God.

@Victor Rodriguez your assumption that first and last is a title for God is incorrect.
Trinitarians attempt to use all of Jesus’ titles to claim that Jesus is God, but it is always important to begin by looking at the meaning of each title. The meaning of being first and last is to be unique, rather than to be God.
      For example:
      1. This is my first and last cigarette.
      2. You are my first and last love.

We are not unique, for all people are born from men, only one man was begotten by God, this is His Son.
Jesus is the only (meaning first and last) begotten son of God.
      John 3:18
…. because he hath not believed in the name of the ONLY begotten Son of God.

God is the ONLY (meaning first and last) God.

    The term Trinity adds to confusion;
    Godhead
The term “Godhead " is found three times in the King James Version: Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; and Colossians 2:9. In each of the three verses, a slightly different Greek word is used, but the definition of each is the same: “deity” or “divine nature.” The word Godhead is used to refer to God’s essential nature. We’ll take a look at each of these passages and what they mean.
In Acts 17, Paul is speaking on Mars Hill to the philosophers of Athens. As he argues against idolatry, Paul says, “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device” (Acts 17:29, KJV). Here, the word Godhead is the translation of the Greek word, a word used by the Greeks to denote “God” in general, with no reference to a particular deity. Paul, speaking to the Greeks, used the term about the only true God.
In Romans 1, Paul makes the case that all humanity stands guilty before God. In verse 20, he says, “The invisible things of him from the world's creation are seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (KJV). Here, Godhead is theiotés. Paul’s argument is that all of creation virtually shouts the existence of God; we can “clearly” see God’s eternal power and His “Godhead” in what He has made. “The heavens declare the glory of God; / the skies proclaim the work of his hands” (Psalm 19:1). The natural world manifests God's divine nature.
Colossians 2:9 is one of the most straightforward statements of the deity of Christ anywhere in the Bible: “In him [Christ] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” The word for “Godhead” here is theotés. According to this verse, Jesus Christ is God Incarnate. He embodies all (“the fullness”) of God (translated as “the Deity” in the NIV). This truth aligns perfectly with Colossians 1:19, “God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him [Christ].”
Because the Godhead dwells bodily in Christ, Jesus could rightly claim that He and the Father are “one” (John 10:30). Because the fullness of God’s divine essence is present in the Son of God, Jesus could say to Philip, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9).
In summary, the Godhead is the essence of the Divine Being; the Godhead is the only Deity. Jesus, the incarnate Godhead, entered our world and showed us exactly who God is: “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known” (John 1:18; cf. Hebrews 1:3).

Nice presentation. Typically, however, the Trinitarian conception is that the Father, Son, and HS have one will. Will comes from nature, according to this view, and so Father, Son, and HS are said to have one divine will. The conflict surrounding Maximus the Confessor and monothelatism was extrapolated from this question, finally asserting that Christ has two wills, a divine will and a human will, in accordance with his these two natures.

In Revelation the true believers will have the NAME of the FATHER on their foreheads. Do you know what it is...intimately?
The worshippers of the false god will be marked with his number, 666. Revelation gives us the clue: "the number of man". If you look to Hebrew (instead of Greek) to solve this riddle, the answer is very simple.
THE NUMBER OF MAN IS 6.
If you have not solved the mystery yet I will tell you: A God who is 3 men is 666, the god of the Roman Catholic Church known by a number, not a name.
The Trinity was not developed until 600 years after Christ by former Pagans in the Roman Church. Why would Jesus make us wait this long for the "full truth" to be revealed? Wasn't Jesus the truth? Why change Jesus' words that "God is one"?
We don't want people to be marked with 666 if they don't want to be. It is getting close to the time when people will want to know the One True God as He made Himself known to us.

The "Prologue of the Gospel of John" isn't meant to be understood literally but instead is figurative speech that is referencing a concept that's detailed in previous scriptures known as "Wisdom Literature" in which the metaphor of "Lady Wisdom" is a synonym for "The Word." Basically meaning that "God's Word is Wisdom." God's Word (aka "Wisdom") is also referred to as "The Law" that God revealed to mankind through His many prophets.
As for John 1:14 this verse is basically saying that Jesus Christ was the flesh and blood embodiment of God’s wisdom put into action and it is very similar to the idea of God’s wisdom visiting earth and living amongst us in the form of the Torah scroll (see Baruch 3-4:1).

(BEGOTTEN) Monogenes meaning >>> Monogenes has two primary definitions. The first definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind within a specific relationship." This is its meaning in Hebrews 11:17 when the writer refers to Isaac as Abraham’s "only begotten son" (KJV). Abraham had more than one son, but Isaac was the only son he had by Sarah and the only son of the covenant. Therefore, it is the uniqueness of Isaac among the other sons that allows for the use of monogenes in that context. The second definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind or class, unique in kind." This is the meaning that is implied in John 3:16 (see also John 1:14, 18; 3:18; 1 John 4:9). John was primarily concerned with demonstrating that Jesus is the Son of God (John 20:31), and he uses monogenes to highlight Jesus as uniquely God’s Son

Your comment Tim leaves you with only 2 options: 1) ignorant or 2) deceitful. You can only pick one :) If you need help I can assist. All your references are so ridiculously silly and betray a complete ignorance of Bible teachings. None of them even remotely support the demonic doctrine of a triune god. Sometimes a quick check of various translations gives you the correct interpretation instead of being limited by a particular rendering. For example:
“The absolute truth is that I was in existence before Abraham was ever born!” [John 8:58 TLB]
“For sure, I tell you, before Abraham was born, I was and am and always will be!” [John 8:58 NLV]
`I tell you the truth. I already was before Abraham was born.' [John 8:58 Worldwide English NT]
Clearly you can see the point Jesus was making in his reply, certainly not trying to teach an ancient pagan doctrine of a triune godhead. Same goes for all these verses used to support the trinity - so silly and IGNORANT. Granted some verses seem to imply something, remotely, possibly, if you squeeze hard enough, slant toward a trinity - maybe, but keep in mind that all these translations were done after centuries that the trinity doctrine was part of mainstream religion (false religion at that) - so they just went with the flow, assuming it was obvious to everyone. Although their intentions may not have been BAD, the translation was definitely BAD and skewed. All easily explained if someone is thirsty enough for truth, but if you like to have your ears tickled - laugh away but remember one thing: Hebrews 10:31. Cheers

I think this isn't biblical since we see often times in the bible phrases like "JHWH came down to see" and similar. Therefore, I would not say "God is everywhere" which is extremely close to what is known as pantheism (everything is God), and in fact I believe omnipresence can't be seperated from pantheism, but rather I would say God is everywhere where he chooses to be.

Why would Christians give credence to a council of men coming together to argue who God is (The Council of Nicaea in 325 CE), and thereby seek to define God? Can mankind define God? No, God reveals Himself to mankind. 1 John 5:7-8, The Johannine Comma is an interpolation according to Christian scholars (words added) to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is none. Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples, but the disciples only baptized in the Savior’s name only, as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The early church historian Eusebius, wrote (published circa 316 CE) in his book, Matthew 28:19, that Christ actually said, "Go and make disciples of all the nations in my name" (Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, PENGU1N CLASSICS, 1965). The Trinity has only really existed since the 4th century. Historian H.G. Wells factually stated, "There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus ever heard of the Trinity-at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. 499). Martin Luther is quoted in a sermon saying, "It is indeed true that the name 'Trinity' is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man" (The Sermons of Martin Luther, Vol. 3, p. 406, 1988). It is time that the false Trinity Doctrine cease to exist in Christianity! Catholics and Protestants agree that “Whoever will be saved: before all things, it is necessary to keep the Catholic faith… unless he keeps this faith whole, he will perish everlastingly...And the Catholic faith is this: we worship one God in Trinity” (Catholicism, p. 69, 1961). Protestant professor of Theology James White, states, “The Trinity doctrine is misunderstood as well as ignored. It is so misunderstood that a majority of Christians when asked, give incorrect and at times downright heretical definitions of the Trinity” (James White, The Forgotten Trinity, p. 16). According to James White, around 75% of Christians, who think themselves to be Trinitarians, are actually Modalists. Modalism: One God who at different times represents Himself in three different modes of being: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. If belief in the Trinity doctrine is so critical to our salvation, then why did Christ and the disciples not preach the Trinity, which historically developed over 300 years after Christ? To say that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, when Christ never stipulated the doctrine as a prerequisite for salvation is the grossest form of legalism! The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation when Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, that many will actually stand condemned for believing in the Trinity according to the Tradition of men, and not of God. Christ warned us about teaching doctrines without one thus says the LORD! And He...said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition” (Mark 7:6-9). Christians do not need to believe in the Trinity in order to receive salvation and eternal life in the Kingdom of God! If Christians needed to believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, then it would be taught in the New Testament by our Lord and Savior, and it, the Trinity, was not taught in the New Testament. The Trinity is a useless Doctrine based solely on the misunderstanding of men. It is time for Christians to free themselves from the doctrines of men. The Son of God declared: “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). YAH is the meaning of I AM. By this statement, Christ told the Jews that He is their God, the very God of Israel. Not to take this statement as true in that He, the Son of God, is lesser than His Father and God is tantamount to calling Him a liar. Based on everything presented here, the statement by churches that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved is the highest form of legalism. But doesn’t Elohim prove the Trinity, after all it is plural. No. Elohim means Gods. The Trinity is the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet not three Gods [Elohim], One God [Eloah, or EL]. The true definition of Elohim is the God of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17).

Interesting that Sean totally ignores every single scripture used to support the trinity. There's a suggestion of multiple persons within God from the very first chapter of the bible. "Then God said (singular), let US (plural) make man in OUR (plural) image, after OUR likeness."
Look also to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Abram is visited by 3 "angels," but one of them is addressed as Lord, and has pre-eminence over the other two. Then, that Lord destroys Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 19:24, "Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the Lord out of heaven." Yahweh rained down fire from Yahweh? Weird way to put it unless there is more than one person at work here.
Read the account of Jacob wrestling with God in Genesis 32. It says he wrestled with "the Angel of the Lord," but then his name is changed to Israel: he who wrestles with God. In verse 30, Jacob, now Israel, says: "So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, 'For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.'" Jacob literally calls this "angel," God. Under my understanding, this is a preincarnate Jesus.
Without even leaving Genesis we have strong evidence for multiple persons as God.
Jump to Joshua 5 and we see the Angel of the Lord appear to Joshua before they take Jericho and Joshua worships this angel and calls him Lord. "And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him, 'What does my Lord say to his servant?' And the commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, 'Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.' And Joshua did so." (Joshua 5:14-‬15).
Notice that this "Angel" says the same thing to Joshua that God said to Moses in the burning bush. Only twice in scripture is the command given to remove one's sandals because they are standing on Holy Ground, and both times it is because of the immediate presence of God. Here, too, we have a preincarnate appearance of Jesus, a Christophany.
Jump to the New Testament and we have John 10:30, in which Jesus says "The Father and I are one."
In John 8:58-59, Jesus says: "'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.' So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple." Jesus claims to be the I AM, and it's so obviously a claim to be God that the crowd tries to stone him for blasphemy.
In Mark 14, when Jesus stands trial, he quotes a prophecy from Daniel 7 about his identity and the High Priest immediately tears his robes and cries blasphemy. This was not because he claimed to be Messiah, but because he claimed to be God. You can ask any practicing Jew today and they will tell you that you are allowed to claim to be the Messiah. You are not allowed to claim to be God. Here is the passage: "Again the high priest asked him, 'Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?' And Jesus said, 'I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.' And the high priest tore his garments and said, 'What further witnesses do we need? You have heard his blasphemy. What is your decision?' And they all condemned him as deserving death." Mark 14:61-‬64
If you do not believe that Jesus is God, then you must believe Jesus was lying and you are not a Christian. You cannot be. This is essential doctrine.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear O Israel, YHVH our God is ONE (Echad)
The relationship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit has been a point of discussion for almost 2000 years.
In Malachi 3:6 we read that YHVH does not change. Therefore the key to understanding the relationship of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit can be found in the above verse Deuteronomy 6:4.
To employ that key we must look at the original language of the text where YHVH is describes as One. The verse is the basis of the Shema which is the fundamental statement of faith for the Jewish people. Most non Messianic Jews have a big problem with the Christian concept of a triune God.
The key for both Jews and Christians to learn the correct concept of our God is the word echad. Echad is the Hebrew word for one, but more precisely it means a single entity but made up of more than one part.
There is another Hebrew word from the same root - Yachid which means single. The meaning of Echad (more than one part) is a confirmation of the Hebrew word Elohim which is translated as God. Elohim is a plural word - more than one being called God
There is one more clear proof of the truine nature of the God of Israel.
Isaiah 48:16 And now YHVH and His Ruach (Spirit) have sent Me (an eternal person speaking in verse 12 and 16 - Yeshua)
Three entities can be clearly seen in that verse. The nature of God is a mystery, but we can clearly see that although God is Echad, He is much more than that - He is Echad and He is Elohim - Hallelu YAH

Echad means ‘one/only’..... there’s no indication whatsoever that it means many in one and the Bible doesn’t say so. Elohim is not God’s name. That appellate simply means master/lord. The ‘im’ plurality is simply as a deference to whom it is addressed therefore it is called the majesty of plurality and does not have to do with numbers.

    3- a place (Earth).
A creator with such limitations can't function outside it.
By definition, The Creator is a being who's capable of creating anything out of nothing, erase what he creates and bring a brand new creation. The creator in the trinity is a creator, but he is not the creator of everything. Christianity start in the trinity and ends there.

The history of the Trinity begins at 15:00. I believe the Bible, and the Trinity is nowhere in the Bible. I do not have to believe in something that Jesus didn't teach. If people believe that the Trinity is the correct reconfiguration of God, then they should know where the concept of the Trinity came from, and be able to explain why Jesus and the Bible needed the Roman Catholic's "supplemental information".
Great job Sean! This is important that Christians return to the One True God of the Bible the Father of Jesus.
I would like you to consider something. The Name of God is highly sacred to the Jewish people. They have guarded it and do not want it to be misused. It is not Yahweh. There never was the letter "W" in the Hebrew language.
God's Name is Yehovah (Yeho-VAH'). High level rabbis have transmitted The Name in secret ceremonies standing over water in candle light at night so that it would be remembered exactly as Moses heard it on Mt. Sinai. Rhymes and word puzzles have been used to validate it forever. There are over 3,000 ancient documents in Hebrew that have been made public in the last few years. Every one of them validates the pronunciation of The Name.
The Name is to be protected and kept hidden from non-Jews until the Messianic Age when "God is One". They don't want Trinitarians to have the Name. You believe that God is "One". Please take a final step out of Rome and break through the barriers that have separated Christianity from the Jewish people, the guardians of God's Oneness and His Name.

The Trinity is never mentioned in the Bible. You mean to say that you believe the 6th Century Roman Catholic "revelation" that a Trinity is implied.
Jesus never used his Father's Sacred Name YHVH for himself, and it is NOT "Yahweh".
If you have come here to challenge your conclusions, rather than just share them, the 21st Century Reformation web site addresses all the verses commonly used to support the Trinity. They can do it better than I can.
Furthermore, the rediscovery of the New Testament in the original ancient Hebrew language clarifies everything, and the passages that have been used to support a Trinity can no longer do that.
As the Roman Catholic re-make of Christianity is being removed, there is no longer any reason for Jews to reject "Christianity". "The Father alone is God". Jn
Jesus asked Peter, "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "The Messiah the Son of God". Jesus affirmed that answer and on it he built his Church. That is my Church, based on the rock of Jesus the Son of God and the Messiah. Jesus never said he was God. "Do not take anything from the Bible and do not add anything to it".

@@randallsmith7224 Hi Randall! I wrote you twice but it did not take. I'll try dividing it into two segments. I see God as the Creator, "He Causes Being", our Parent and Father (Daddy). He is infinite unlimited but He is right here with us and in us right here right now. He is not removed from you nor His creation.
I see Jesus as God's perfect son, the only one who never disconnected from God and was always WITH God. Jesus broke into our realm by a miracle so that we could see what it is like to be a man who is fully at-one with his Father. Jesus conquered the forces that kept mankind from being at one with the Father. He reconciled us. Jesus is not only our model, he is our brother, inviting us back into relationship with the Father.
Jesus said "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Because THE FATHER LIVES IN ME AND I LIVE IN HIM." He said that 3 times so we would not miss is. If Jesus was God, this is one of the places he would have said so. He did not.

Jesus said, "If you do what I say the Father and I will come and live in you." God touches earth IN Jesus, and THROUGH Jesus not as Jesus.
      THE SPIRIT OF SONSHIP
Jesus ascended and left the limited physical form. We can know him through the Holy Spirit which the Father gave him and he sent to us. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Son that says we can call God our Father, Abba (Daddy) and become the full sons of God, and be full heirs with Christ. In other words Jesus sent the spirit of truth that restores us as the image and likeness of God like Jesus is.
If Jesus was God then we could not become full sons of God like Jesus is, because we cannot be God. Our Father wants to use us to bring creation into being, just as He did THROUGH Jesus. If we receive the heritage that Jesus modeled for us, our birthright, we can start doing the miracles like Jesus did.
The Doctrine of the Trinity takes our birthright away and makes the church hierarchy be our intermediary. We are the sons of God when we let God be all.
There is one place in John where the Spirit is called "He". But that is not in the original text. When the Roman Church had the Bible translated into Greek they made some changes which support their Greek theology of God being three Persons. If we expect an imaginary third person to do things for us then we become helpless. The Spirit is the Spirit of the Father living in us like the Father lived in Jesus. God dwells in us fully in His Holy Spirit.

continued.....Jesus was very clear that his Father was greater than him. He said, "I can do nothing by myself. It is my Father living in me who doeth the works." Jesus lived at-one with the Father. He heard his Father's thoughts and felt from his Father's heart. Jesus never would have competed with his Father for being God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus was God, nor that God was some composite of three beings. That was the worldview of the Platonic Greek philosophers who murdered the Jewish Christians and took over the movement, believing Greeks to be more philosophically advanced that Jews who did not have Plato, but “only had their Old Testament”.
There are several passages that have been used wrongly to try and validate the Doctrine of the Trinity. If you go to the 21 Century Reformation web site they address every one of those passages. There are mature Bible preaching pastors in every branch of Christianity who have said, "I cannot preach these Roman doctrines any longer. The doctrines are not Biblical and they make people slaves." These guys are all saying about the same thing; just what it says in the Bible. There are great CZcams videos also by Seventh Day Adventists who have stepped out of the Doctrine of the Trinity. A good teacher is Nader Mansour.
The Trinity makes everything blurry. The truth is that you have a Father and you have a brother. They tell you to look for them living in you.
Although there is great miracle working power in getting the Truth right, and unleashing your full birthright, what is more important than academic classification is that you let the Spirit that the Son receives from the Father (Love) live in your heart and guide your life.
Your Father designed you and made you the way He wanted to. That is a cool thing to have a Father and Creator. You were wanted and designed by the highest intelligence there is. He has great things in store for you that you could never dream of yourself. If you allow Him to be all, you will not have to surrender one bit of your unique individuality because He gave it to you and He knows how to make you happy!!! Let yourself receive everything He designed you to receive!
We can be good people! But the goal is for the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Sonship, to excite and empower our lives with heavenly potential! We can hear from our Father and testify of the results in church. I'm sure you do! And the Kingdom will be established on earth.
Blessing to you as you grow closer to your Father and His Son (your best friend) living inside of you, and wanting to put everything of heaven in your lap!

He said the first and most important commandment that God is one (o isreal our Lord God is one). Jesus believed God is one. He prayed to God in Luke 6.12 . He fasted and paid charity in Luke 18.12 . NEGATIVE !
We know very clearly where and when the Trinity doctrine entered the Christian church.
Most supporters of the Godhead tend to ignore that, but scholars are on the same page.
Ancient Judaism did not worship a trinity, that is a fact. The 1st and 2nd century christians did not worship a trinity, that is also a fact.
In the 300 years post the apostle John dying, There is no evidence those christians worshipped up a Trinity either.
We can only trace the Christian church believing & teaching trinity doctrine AFTER the council of Nicea 325 CE.
    Unacceptably unexplainable.
    Especially for a foundational doctrine.

It doesn't matter what his excuse is for calling God a person or Jesus a person or the Holy Spirit a person. He is actually portraying himself to be Gods equal. He may as well be calling himself God. This all came from Catholicism where the Pope sees himself as God on earth. God is God Jesus is Jesus the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit 3 enlightened entities but 1 in the Word. In the beginning there was the WORD the Word was with God and the Word was God, the Word was made flesh and he dwelt amongst us, Jesus said when I am gone I will send the comforter the Holy Spirit/The Spirit of the WORD. The trinity is 3 but 1 in the Word. The Word is what Jesus Christ kills the false prophet and the anti christ with.

The Word was God's word that became flesh in Jesus Christ. Why do so many misunderstand that the Word was God's word not a second entity with God in the begining. Didn't God speak the world into existence? The holy scriptures doesn't begin by saying "in the begining Jesus created etc"!

Someone asked about this: "I and my Father are ONE." Jn 10:30. In Greek ἕν (hen) is used. It can mean “at one”, “unity”, “united” or “in union”. This word can imply a relationship.
A different word for ONE is used other places: "None is good but the One true God." Or in, "YHVH is One." Here εἷς (heis) is used for "one". This is the primary numeral one. Singular. One alone.
The Bible is not saying that Jesus is the one God. The Gospel is about a relationship. A Parent-child relationship that we are invited to return to. Jesus wants you to be at-one with him and the Father as Jesus and the Father are one. ( ἕν in union.)
The people who wrote the King James Bible did not understand Hebrew nor Greek fully. I regret that they did not acknowledge that there were two different Greek words for "one". And I regret that some of the newer translations trying to stick close to the King James did not do their homework either.

--Matthew 28:19 The Father and Son have names, so this verse indicates that the Holy Ghost also has a name.
If the Holy Ghost is the ghost of Adam, then the reason scripture does not give his name is likely because there is so much dishonoring of our first temporal father that this knowledge would be "meat" that they are not ready for, and could cause them to stumble in the faith.
