- Owen Hargreaves was an example to many footballers. He was hardworking, skillful and Versatile. I was shocked to find that there was hardly any footage on CZcams of him when he was at Manchester United, hence I have uploaded the most obvious great performances of his.

Hargreaves was a good player for Utd until the injury. He was England's best player in a tournament one year. I rated the guy highly shame his career was ended.

@@theoph1932 but that was definitely due to his injuries. He got a 4 year contract and stayed healthy only in the first season. Nevertheless he was crucial in ManUtd success in 2007/08 as he added necessary depth to the midfield. I think it was the best midfield in ManUtd history - Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Hargreaves, Carrick, Anderson, Nani and Pak Ji-Sung all playing together in this one season. Better imho than the only other contending midfield of 98/99 - Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Keane, Blomqvist, Butt and Cruyff.

Complete ignorance of the man's career. Manure isn't the only team he played for, and certainly it wasn't the best team he played for. BAYERN MUNICH! Where he was a standout and won the Champions League with them and multiple Bundesliga titles. Who is Manure? They aren't even the best team in Manchester!!!!

We lost Tevez, Ronaldo and Hargreaves all around the same time. Scholes and Giggs were coming to the end of their careers. No real replacements for these legends. Sth we are still struggling with till this date

@@thangchano because there was still prime rooney, evra, vidic, rio, carrick then van persie, all of those players were still in their prime that's why united still managed to win titles, when sir alex left all those players were pretty much getting past it as well
He was phenomenal when he played! But his style of play probably caused all those injuries such a shame

Absolute quality player for Bayern, Man Utd until the injury and England. Hugely underrated and became the scapegoat for Ferguson having an off season (by their previous standards at the time, particularly the previous season) in 2009 with inexcusable comments he made in his book which are effectively blaming a player for any impact a career ending injury had on the manager's career.
Park should be there too
The guy won the champions league at Bayern and Man Utd. He reached the very top. His penalty in the CL final is probably the ballsyest penalty I've ever seen. Fergie was bang out of order to criticize his character like he did.
He had destroyed his knees by this point in his career and unfortunately there was nothing left for the end of his career.
Ole' Red Nose was a low class Scottish git who just lucked into the job at Manure, where rich owners provided him with some of the best players in the world. Hargreaves was pure class. When I listen to the two sides of that story, I know who I side with. And he doesn't have a red nose and a bad attitude.

Saba Fidel not really, Hargreaves was versatile that’s why fergie bought him, he could play attacking, rb, cb pretty much anywhere. If he stayed we may not have seen the likes of Rafaela or Valencia at old trafford
