Remember, Shao Khan was the one who taught sorcerer Shang Tsung how to steal souls. Therefore, Shao Khan is the supreme master of taking souls then followed by sorcerer's Shang Tsung and Quan Chi
The Elder Gods cursed Shang with the ability to steal souls.
Just so you know. All of akuma's feats are non canon. They come from alternate endings if you choose to play as akuma or e honda
but remember: 19:30 so, technically, it is possible he can. it's just not 100% canon.
@@crcoghill yes same thing with akuma's feats. It's just that people used the argument that its non canon that they should use asura wrath which is completely non canon and not a alternate probability
Shao Kahn did what was expected. Akuma just didn’t have enough to work with in comparison
You are completely correct. The way Death Battle determines a winner is by who they think would win the most times out about 100 matches, not just a couple times thanks to one good move or skill.
With Akumas Raging Demon being (mostly) the only thing that could permanently put down Shao Kahn, it was harder to justify him winning the majority.

They heavily lowballed Kahn, Blaze would classify as a universal entity, given the realms are described as separate dimensions.
That's what they meant by "while we don't have an exact time-frame of Blaze's destruction of the realms-"
Blaze could destroy all the realms, but there's nothing saying whether or not he could do it in one go. He could do it with a wave of his hand or it could take him a long period of time and effort. Much like how Kronika could stop time, but rewriting it without Raiden took considerably more energy and planning.
They weren't lowballing him. They were saying, "Blazes power is likely higher than a planet, but we can, at the very least, definitively prove it's at least that much because of Shao Kahns own feats and scaling." They present with what can be definitively calculated and proven, then acknowledge when it's probably higher, but hard to precisely pin down.
They've done this with many other match-ups before, perfect examples being Beerus vs Galaxia, Goku Black vs Reverse Flash, and Might Guy vs All-Might, just to name a few.
I thought so too bro but they never really describe what a realm is exactly But I do believe that they lowballed Shao Kahn cuz they never talk about how he is a master of blood magic too.
If they recognize blaze as non-canon piece of evidence why won’t we use evidence from the fight between Akuma and Asura?
Even in Asura vs Akuma.The fight was a continental fight at best. Despite Asura being able to reach universal destruction he didn’t display it during his fight with Akuma. Shao Khan is leagues above even Asura you have to remember Shao Khan is a God who has been limited on the mortal realm not just by the Elder Gods but also by being in a mortal coil.
Blaze's non-canon ending is still a possible thing that could've happened, Akuma fighting Asura has no place in SF canon
And if we want to take crossover games into account, we could scale MK characters to DC characters due to that game being a thing
