Popeye is one of my cartoon childhood heroes growing up. I tried to be like him as a kid but couldn't develop a taste for spinach
I didn't mind spinach as a kid lol
Crazy part is Popeye is the only reason I even ate spinach as a kid lol.

Popeye is an old school cartoon character. Most Toons are reality defying super beings that can do whatever they damn well please. Bugs Bunny, The Mask, SpongeBob, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Roger Rabbit, and so on are near unstoppable as long as their writers and animators want them to be.
Even when the writers and animators wanted them not to be, they still would be because they are just that defiant on logic.
Of them all though, popeye is probably the strongest. Most reality warpers of their caliber don’t need to fight, but popeye actually likes to, limiting his power for the first part of the fight (very anime come to think of it) so he actually has martial skill.

@@kagato23 Didn’t he unravel the Universe once? I also remember him at least acknowledging the audience and narrator, but never saw him beat them up like Popeye. Bugs has done that though, hasn’t he?
Popeye is a toon. you're not going to beat a toon. An old-school classic toon at that. Even Saitama, who is a parody of a ridiculously strong superhero, mainly Superman. Cant beat that

Don't go against toon powers you're going to lose 99% of the time.
Saitama never had a chance against the *Original* Toon OP character, Popeye has beaten Superman like it was nothing.
When in doubt go with the one closest to a classic "toon"

I don’t get how people can hear Popeye literally surviving the destruction of the entire universe, and think he’ll lose to a guy who can’t even destroy a galaxy. Do people just not listen to the analysis at the start? Why not just skip it them?

I hope we see Saitama comeback a second time in death battle with all the new feats he got including his scaling to OPM GOD who’s a 5D being, this was only season 1 Saitama.

I don't think it'll matter how strong Saitama gets against Popeye. Popeye is just on another level. DC even admitted Popeye can beat Superman by making a knockoff character named Captain Strong who, beat Supes ass and only lost because he overdosed on "radioactive seaweed." Saitama needs another opponent to fight against.

My personal favorite episode is Leon Kennedy VS Frank West. It's their first horror-themed episode, and what got me into Resident Evil.
