- Welcome to a full day in my life backpacking - fall edition! In this video I'll take you through 24 hours in my life as a backpacker here in the Pacific Northwest! Starting at dawn in my apartment in Seattle you'll follow me all the way to camp in the North Cascades the next morning. I'm so stoked to share this video with you because this was one of the best backpacking trips I have EVER taken. Perfect sunny weather, amazing mountain views, gorgeous fall colors, and best of all: an abundance of stunning golden larches!! If you have never seen a larch before, they are deciduous conifers that change their colors from green to gold for a brief window during the fall. They're a wonderful sight to behold and I'm excited to share them with you in this day in the life as a backpacker video. 24 hours in my life starts now... Enjoy! 🍂🌲

Thank you for sharing the beautiful view… I am camping with a group for the first time, but at a base camp. I am bringing cous cous , chic peas dinner meals. I was wanting to bring perhaps one or two dry pack meals. Which if only taking two would your bring?
I tried PEAK granola and strawberries and that was yummy… but I am bringing quinoa oatmeal for breakfast..

what do you do for a living, that helps support you when you are not backpacking during the winter months.,
Pesky bee flying around you because you just took a shower and probably used shampoo with a sweet odor, which attracted the bee. Happened to me in Mexico many years ago walking down a street and got swarmed by bees, luckily not "killer bees." A guy walking the other way motioned to my hair and said "shampoo!"
