This was much needed!!! My hair is super short and I put the rubber bands in but I felt like I couldn’t blend the little hair left over into the braid or lock. This wrapping method just changed my life.

DXLYN locs I wish I had a small head like yours. I have always wanted to rock short hairstyles. My head is big, so I don’t feel comfortable wearing short hairstyles. Thank God I always had a full head of hair tho. I still have small head envy tho. 😂
2 months ago I cut my locs after 22 years . I just couldn’t do the locking myself anymore . I wanted a change. Just like you I wanted the short look, but now I find myself thinking about growing my locs back but shoulder length. I really don’t know what to do with my hair, but you just given me confidents that I can try something different. My hair was the same length and width as yours and now just as short. I felt so lost for the first time. So thank you. I will not loc it , but just have fun with it and try different styles. So thank you for sharing.
I'm definitely using the hair that's already twisted, then all I hv to do is crochet it in. Saves a lot of time. 😀

Good for you sista, I so agree. People do think they can say what they want about our hair, especially natural hair. I actually hate that when people come up to me and say comments, like it matters what they think. SAVE IT people.

I was wondering why we weren't seeing updates on your locs LOL. I feel you on the whole I'm not my hair thing. I had a recent bout with build up and thought I would have to cut them ( got it out so I didn't) . I love them but that was a huge lesson I needed in learning that my locs don't Define me. I might be able to do this finally …however probably not my hair is so fragile. I wore crochets straight 3 yrs but unfortunately 2020 to 2021 lost all of it. I have ccca or traction alopecia and it’s caught up to my crown. I shaved my hair December 2021…7 months later I finally have 2 ins mid head down and barely and inch crown. I’m so depressed but head band wigs have saved me . This looks amazing by the way and how I used to do it
