In today's video, I try Marley Twists for the first time ever using the rubber band method.
It wasn't as easy as I thought because I have little experience managing my hair texture however, it came out wayyy better than I thought!
Let me know if this is something you'll try yourself now that most of us can't get our hair done professionally.

@@shalie94 They also have a point system and you can get free stuff with the points. Sometimes it's enough to get hair extensions for free.
Thankfully my beauty store is still open 🙌🏽🙌🏽
you can also just rubber band your entire head, then use a crochet needle to pull the hair through your own hair and twist, its more secure and you can vary in tightness, but your method works great if you don’t have a crochet needle! very pretty, i do this hairstyle a lot , its a great easy protective style.
It works for some but it is really easy to rip out your hair with them
I prefer her method. I always have breakage with the crochet method 😭
this method is to actually hide the rubber band and make it appear like it was done like regular rope twist
This way it wont be too tight different person different method

There’s so many rubber band method videos, but yours is the only one that does it like this- without having to braid the hair in at the roots. I just want to say thank youuuuu! My natural hair is down to my shoulders, but I’m hoping this method still works for me. 🤞🏽 I’ll be trying it tomorrow once I make it to the hair store for some more Jam!

You made it look so easy! I am going to attempt to do it myself. I’ve already done yarn braids successfully so this shouldn’t be too bad especially with the rubber band method. Also, I’m so glad you showed us what it looks like not blow dried. It looks just as fabulous 😊✨
