I don't know in what shape or form $350 is cheap.it being "cheap" I don't think it fits your level, if by chance you have plans of throwing it out, I am willing to be the garbage man that picks it up
Great review. I actually bought this exact Soundbar Model M512A-H6 For $399 2 years ago when I bought a new Sony OLED A80J 65". Sure there are better soundbars for over a $1000 or more but this will give you almost 90% for what you need or want. Sure, the Dolby Atmos isn't quite as good as the expensive speakers but the subwoofer, the main soundbar with separate components etc is really good. I still get the surround sound effect from the 2 small rear speakers and the sound is awesome. Clear dialogue and booming bass enough to feel the vibrations. It was written up in many articles including the guy on CZcams that runs the Digital Trends page. He is one of the best in the business and he was stunned at how good this model was and also said it was the best Under $1000 soundbar. I recommend it highly for us normal guys who don't want to break the bank...

I too am a stickler for not making too many compromises when I'm on a budget for buying my grown-up toys. In this case, I would still require, at minimum, the full X.1.4 system that has 4 Atmos upward-firing speakers. I have an Amazon watch put on the Vizio Elevate P514a-H6 5.1.4 soundbar that currently sells for $800 but occasionally drops down to $600 on Holidays,etc. When it goes on sale, That would be my "budget" pick for a full Atmos experience. ( my next move will hopefully be the Samsung 11.1.4 HW-Q990C).
You have a very nice family room set up , but I noticed that there appears to be an open wall behind your sofa, that leads to a set of down-stairs. I understand your comment about the compactness of the soundbar that could give the impression of "narrow-ness" of the sound. Especially if the soundbar does not contain speakers that fire sound from the sides of the bar. But Do you notice any sound leaks from behind your sofa because of the openness of that stairwell?That might be contributing to the narrowness of the sound or not feeling the full enveloping effect of the 2 front Atmos speakers. If so, you might have to install some type of movable sliding barn doors or thick curtain to help close in the sound in the room on movie nights.

I have the same system, only issue I have is the sub woofer disconnects from the soundbar sporadically which cuts off the surround sound speakers, and the sub is literally 3 ft away, in clear site. I even did a firmware update on the soundbar to see if that would fix the connectivity issue, no luck. I’ll probably stay away from Vizio Surround Sound systems going forward.

Everything has its point of diminishing returns. Is your $2500 Sony setup really $2000+ better than this $350 one? Probably not. $2500 for a sound system is for people who have money and or want the best home theater experience. The vast majority of average people or someone who’s never had a sound system before will be more than happy with a kit like this.
I have one like this but it’s 20” 2.1 soundbar. Only paid 100 and something for it. And I luv it!!!

I wonder why the Vizio SB shown in "Product in current video" is the Elevate model and not the one your showing in this video is totally a different model?
They no longer give you a user manual. I emailed them and they said they are going green. You can go on line and down load it and print it out. Why is it green when they don't print it but I do. I think they live on a different planet. You could read the down load pdf on your phone.
I have the pre Atmos Vizio and it works well. I would upgrade but the reviews about how it loses connection so often is the reason I can’t.

Sorry Antwan, when I first saw the box I thought it was a chainsaw 😁 until the unboxing started. The subwoofer looks like a Logitech G560, It looks great though.
Great review but P series is the way to go..... Have a huge living and it's almost too much sound... And atmos is next level too....

I'm not sure if you might have an answer for this question, but ill still ask in case you do, or someone else can provide some feedback. Between this system, or the Hisense AX Series 5.1.2 which one would you prefer? The Hisense is currently half the price & I'm wondering if for the same quality of sound, I should just go with the Hisense.
