Actually, transtape doesn't follow the same rules as other means of binding-its less constricting- so you're able to safely wear it for a few days (the site says up to five).
Can you do a vid on how to come out and transition during middle school or just school in general

Don't surgically transition until you're done developing. It can be harder on your body
oh my god. I came out to my very accepting lgbtq+ blm teacher and she let me tell the entire class and she got me new nametags for my new name as oppose to my deadname

I can vouch for the !!DONT USE ACE WRAPS!!! tip. I was new to binding (I still am) but I didn’t know anything about it I just wanted a flat chest. So I used it, and it only took TWO days of using it for a muscle in my back to get really messed up. I couldn’t roll over in bed because it hurt to much. So again, please, !!!!!DONT USE ACE WRAPS!!!!!
I binded with three sports bras and it really hurt, I couldn’t breathe that well and my ribs, back, chest and even heart started to hurt constantly. I wouldn’t recommend that, you get flat but it’s really not good for your body and it hurt so much that I had to go home from school nearly every day
Same I used to wear multiple layers of children's sports bras and my school is three stories and all my classes are on different levels, AND I had a mask on, I was pretty much blacking out by the time I got to my class😭
I got my binder today tho so like.... No more almost dying for me😌
It’s the same with normal binders
And is the best option if you are closeted

I just tried out binding my chest for about 15 minutes yesterday. Used Sports tape (that I already had experience using for broken fingers and sprains) so I knew that it wasn't very sticky and while it does adhere well to the skin, it won't pull or tear. If you are going to use sports tape I would say get yourself familiar with using the tape and how sticky it is and how difficult it is to remove. Make sure you don't use something that will bond for longer than you want to bind.

I have like a shirt that is really tight it's normally for to make you look more skinny but I just fold it over it self and it gives me a pretty flat chest and I don't wear it while I sleep is it safe or not because I'm not really sure it feels safe but this is the only option I have right now I'm too scared to ask my parents to buy me a binder

First of all, I just want to say that your videos are great. And also, with school starting again soon I would have to wear my binder for about ten hours a day with bus rides to and from school included. Do you have any tips on that? Also do you have any tips on how to make your chest flatter while exercising/during P.E? Sports bras sort of help but I have a larger chest so people can still tell that I have one, and I plan on going stealth at school so I want to avoid that
What I do is I bring a small non seethrough bag and put another binder or sport bras to layer and change midway through school. Like during lunch
For the exercising i don't know what to recommend since i don't take gym classes
i don't have a binder but i found one sports bra with no padding takes my 42dd chest down to an a and relieves a lot of dysphoria.

I'm going to be hiking and camp at some part of the mountain, we'll be doing a photoshoot. I need to open bind my chest for a character, would you recommend doing the binding on the mountain, before hiking, or at home?
Itll take me more than 6 hours(probably) to go from my house to the mountain

extended tip on transtape, it doesn't rlly constrict ur breathing + its unsafe to wear it without a few days of natural wear and tear because its adhesive is strong but safe when removed properly (with oil)

i’m kinda scared... i want a flat chest and stuff... but binders seem dangerous... i think if i get a binder i’ll wear it to school everyday but take it off and change in between one of the last classes to be safe.. it scares me though bc i don’t want to severely damage myself.
I'm would I be able to use an elastic bandages that arnt ace bandages or is that not safe cause I live in a small town and I can't find trans tape, because I usually use elastic bandages but I don't make it tight and only wear it for 4 hours.
Is wearing a sports bra under a binder safe? I've only done it once but does it do damage? I kinda accidentally bought the wrong size of binder and I can't buy another for reasons.. also haha I tricked my mom into thinking my binder was a bra xD

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy binders? I’m lost at that.
gc2b and underworks are the more popular brands i think. but i didnt have the money to buy their binders, theyre quite expensive (at least for me, im 15 years old). so i just went on ebay and bought a few 4 dollar binders. they do the job, but they're made of quite thin fabric, so they tear easily if you arent careful. also, they're not the most comfortable, but it's fine. yeah, and their shipping time was a few months. that sucked.
@@miketns2212 that sounds very dangerous mate. The reason they are expensive is because they are high quality. A cheap binder can and will hurt you, break ribs, cause internal bleeding and make you a bad candidate for top surgery if you want it. GC2B has sales and coupons. I got my binder for $25 from them.
GC2B is the best brand if you are small, average, or slightly larger. Underworks works better for those who are a bit larger. Even those they are slightly more expensive, it is best to invest in quality, otherwise you may have to pay other things like medical bills for cracked ribs.
@@ren9389 i know, but im pretty sure that if i were to buy a binder from gc2b, the shipping would cost about as much as the binder itself (i'm from finland), and i dont have that much money. and i'd have to buy multiple binders, since they wear out quite fast.
When your in the closet non-binary and all you have are sports bras and you have 10 on and its hard to breath but you can bring yourself to take them off TwT
Please don't wear more than 2. It should not be hard to breathe at all with the sports top method.

Hey, I know dysphoria sucks, but your health is more important. Don't wear more than 2, if they aren't that tight, no more than 3.
You can also bind with old leggins, either the cutting of the legs method, but you can also just wrap them around your chest and tie the legs together in the area of your armpit (I know it sounds weird but it works, I tried it).

I have made the mistake of binding for 10+ hours. Y'all it took me almost 2 days to bind again without pain. Trying Trans tape for the first time. It's so nice but learning curve is kinda horrible

Does binding change your breast shape permanently?
No, it won't decrease your breast size permanently if that's what you're asking. Binding will only make your chest appear smaller but wont actually affect its size once the binder is off. However, if you use a binder for over the recommended time (8-10 hours), it can seriously damage tissue and decrease your chances of getting top surgery if wanted in the future. Hope this helps!

Yo you totally can but id recommend taking an hour break at lunchtime or in a lesson where u just wear a hoodie so you can continue to wear it
