I remember once at a gas station my mom sent my inside to get ice.I was wearing a flannel, decent sized jeans, high tops, and a bandanna. When I checked out the ice she said, “Have a great day, young man!” I wasn’t out yet (and still am not) I had the long hair sadly. I was so happy she called me a young man. Then my mom went inside for something, and the lady at the register said “That’s a nice son you have! He was so kind :)” then I heard my mom yell “S H E ‘ S A G I R L ! “
She kinda got a little angry so I admit, I kindagotalittleangry

I started voice training and working out and I'm about to get a shorter hair cut. Also a tip from me : when you don't or can't have a binder, then you can use sport bras. I don't know if they are helpful for everyone, but for the ones with a smaller chest, I definitly recommend. Also confidence is the hardest point on this list because in public I'm always feeling like I'm in disguise and I'm about to get caught and then bullied by everyone 😅

Obviously I can't alter my body because I don't want to and it's dangerous for kids, I'm already pretty masculine, I'm pretty chubby and my jaw is way more masculine. The lunch ladies always called me "young man" whenever I was in public school, it gave me a rush of adrenaline and happiness. I don't have a deep voice that much but I definitely don't look like a girl, I also have muscles along with my slightly chubby figure, I also wear male clothing, I'm getting a binder soon! But I bind with my sports bras for now. I might start a discord server to help other trans men, you really inspired me and also helped a lot. đŸ–€ I really appreciate you, thank you.

I feel you. I dress femininely, but not the way that girls at my school do. I like to be ~fancy~
The thrift store is your best friend. Almost every article of clothing I own is second hand. If you are on the larger side, it will be harder to find great clothes, though. There are simply more clothes in smaller sizes. Maybe you can wear suits. Like, generic teacher suits.

Good news, this video helped me build up the courage to tell my dad that I want to wear a binder and stuff so as to pass as more masculine! Bad news, he was talking down to me the entire time and didn't listen to what I was trying to say.

Wow, that was really well put together. I agree with everything you mentioned. You were respectful while you were at it. I have seen a few transmen complained about not being able to pass...while they're wearing a dress/skirt with makeup on. The reality is...if you want to pass as male but leaning towards feminine looking.....you're going to be mistaken as a female. Those who tend to pass really well as men tend to do all or most of everything you had mentioned in this video.

This guide is very helpful! It looks like I'm already on the right track with a lot of these. I cant help but feel a little bitter at how we have to do all of this analysing and tweaking just to be perceived as who we are while others don't even have to think about it, but I try to remember that things worth having don't come easy.

I recommend Spectrum Outfitters for Binders as well. They are UK based. Although at face value the look more expensive with the shipping you’d pay for GC2B it works out at around the same price. They also only have the compressing material on the front meaning less strain on your back.

Fair warning for the minoxidil, please be very careful if you have pets. This is very poisonous to cats and even kill them, please if you have animals think about this. Along with that please try this on your wrists before putting it on your face, you could be allergic. My personal use, is it helped a bit, but I was unbearably itchy after five days and had to rinse it out and throw it out so no animals can get a hold of it.

Tip for dudes with a femme voice, hum with your head going up and down until your vocal chords don't feel tight, then open your mouth. Feel how your throat kind of opens too? Close your mouth, but keep your throat open. Relax your shoulders, and talk. That should make your voice sound deeper.

And remember that gender expression and gender are DIFFERENT. I was uncomfortable at first wearing funky earrings because I was afraid not to "pass", but seeing Frederic Chen's channel and his amazing looks made me more confident to express myself however I want. Remember, you do not HAVE TO pass to be considered transgender. If you feel like something feels uncomfortable for you, don't do it.

Great video for Trans men :) , Im a Pre T trans man & I been sitting like a man since i was a kid & and fighting with myself 3 years ago trying to see what was wrong with me.... Started wearing clothes from the mens section & was comfortable for once in my life. So picking mens clothes come natural to a trans they just pick what they like on them. Already people think im a boy for thats great for me :D , and body shape not much of a choice people have depends on your bone structure too & Body fat. Im im hoping for Inverted triangle.

one tip for walking to help your hips sway less is imagine a line on the ground from where you are to where you're going and walk with one foot on either side of the line, instead of walking on the line. walking with your feet directly in front of each other reads more feminine, so avoiding that can be good ❀

Hi! I know that not many people will even want to follow this or have a strong connection with their hair but I'm native american and I care a lot about my hair, so here's my tip for long haired men:
(ps, i only have tips for straight or wavy hair, sorry.)
    -Wear in tight, low ponytails.
-Comb hair-line back and put into a poorly done bun, dont worry about it being too high.
-Copy the tight low ponytail but put it into a really tight braid, try not to make it too fluffy, it might seem feminine.
-Let it free, no need to style it, your long hair is just as masculine as short hair!

On my first day of going out for shopping groceries after coming out and being confident with it I still was insecure about my walk. Because I have really obvious feminine hips and legs and I have to wear heels due to knee problems I automatically was swinging my hips a lot. A lot. So I spend an hour walking with my hands down my pockets because that would restrict me from swinging my hips freely if I forgot about it and I had such muscle strain at the end of the day just from walking like a normal person. 10/10 would do again.

I know you posted this so long ago but I hope you’re doing good! I’ve never heard about wearing heels to help with knee pain. Do you still have to wear them? Also, have you tried those kinds of mens shoes with hidden height added to the heel? I don’t know if those would be high enough to help, but I thought I would mention it, in case you haven’t heard of those before ❀
