Fun fact they've been removed in the newest patch, or at least they've dissapeared from the map, which means they were probably unreachable and there by mistake
Dev rooms under the map might be what they are. They could also be a map display bug showing things where they aren't.
Weirdly enough, you can still place pins on where those parts used to be on the map

The Hyrule Castle Chasm going so far underground compared to the rest of the Depths is freaking terrifying. At the Camobatures lightroot the game already considers you being at the Depths. No wonder the Sage's power can't reach you past a certain point because how far DOWN you go.

I wonder if we will get Underdepths in a DLC or something. Maybe Nintendo left that glitched map under there for a reason and they intend to fill it when it's time to make a DLC?
Below the depths is where Demise's hellish lair is. After the Master Sword was shattered Demise ends up back where he originally emerged from. At least that's what I'd love to have happen.

I'm gonna say they are the gaurdian storage containers (the big pillars that surrounded hyrule castle in botw that we would all climb with revali's gale), and once the calamity was defeated they forced themselves so far undeground that they fell all the way down there

I'm pretty sure that's just the walls of the demon king's army arena not being completely flat
nope since that location is not there and this chamber appears twice in 2 areas
If you place a pin on the map, you can kind of see it inside of the wall of the arena
@@baron-stijnif you place a pin and can see it in the camera from anywhere thats kinda a shut case. They seem really accurate and you can only see em when you’re at the exact right elevation and everything
@@Mety333Ive actually been on that place. It was the walls of the demon king army area. If you go on the edge there is actual walls where you can stand on. Thats just my theory tho

I tried using ghost stick steering (an offshoot branch off from the autobuild cancel glitch) to see if these rooms exist, and and they don’t. This has to be an error on the map designers forgetting to erase/black out these parts of the map. I’d assume it’s part of gloom origin they partially removed.
I was wondering what that thing was in the Hyrule Castle Depths was for the longest time. Thank goodness someone made a video about this!
That makes you wonder what happened in development that caused them to not appear. Would have they been a treasure room? Or two entrances to a dungeon that was removed. We may never know

I look back at this video when the glitch is patched, while I was messing with this glitch getting to the same area, I got to glooms origin, aka where you fight ganondorf at the end of the game, if you walk to where ganondorf cutscene triggers, nothing happens, and apparently the thing ganondorf is on counts as gloom so you take gloom damage when you touch it, and you can place a travel medallion. So I want to say Thank you Mety For making this video! I would have never knew this existed if you didn’t do this!
You don't actually need to glitch to get there... and by there, I mean the spot on the map where nothing really is. After you defeat Ganondorf's army, You're supposed to jump straight down to the final boss fight chamber. Only it's not a scripted sequence, you can paraglide all over that black "out of bounds" looking area. There's even fully modeled and interactable walls with gloom splatters, because they knew players would be looking there. I guess they weren't expecting anyone to take the long way and break the geometry?

Hey meaty is there any way to see the potential path Zelda and Link took from the surface to the imprisoning chamber. Purah mentioned there was a staircase that led them there. In the game its only reach able through the chasm and the forgotten foundations.
Is there at least an indication on what path they took that is no more that connects the foundation to hyrule castle?
It's most likely that whatever path they took was destroyed, but it might be possible to peice it together.

Really thought from a topdown view landing on the lowest part of beneath the depths looked like a gigantic body for Ganondorf, because of the red gloom tendrils making it look like his hair.
I mean when I was skydiving down the first time the platform you fight on looked like a heart

At one point when looking up, you can see the underside of polygons which are clearly opaque from only a few viewing angles.
Most likely what’s being seen on the map. Probably a hold over from an earlier build.

I have reached this gloom plain and it is possible glitch through it with zuggle overloading on a steering stick.(my version 1.1.1) if you get off to early you get stuck in floor but, to late you might miss opportunity because you lose the 3rd person camera on another plain I guess. one last thing it is defiantly possible to reach -100,000. Can you beat it and good luck😀

Those sections don't actually exist in the game. The display in the map is just a glitch, and if you download the most recent patch, then this glitch no longer occurs with the map.

Looks to me just a copy-paste of Ganondorf's chamber, but in 2 places, one must of been used in beta testing while the other was the final version that was used, and never bothered to delete the other.
It also looked as if though you weren't even on top of where it was, you got pretty far off course, because it's in the deepest part of the depths you can possibly go, which is why you have that dark blue topography. No other places is like that except for the place below Mount Agaat, and some bits below Hebra Peak, they're the few places that comes closest to being the deepest areas you can explore, but the one where Ganondorf is the furthest down it goes.

Compare with ur shrines on land, its parallel with the shrines, thats how i find each of them vice versa.
Have you done the labyrnth on the north east side of the map? the underground part of it has a lightroot and it's depths is not connected to the main depths area.

It is hidden inside the hill south of that island in the surface!
The entrance to the cave the chasm is in is at _0890,0656,0016 so basically the east side of the hill in the southwest of the bottom island

I love how the map in this game is autogenerated similar to Minecraft's, so if you see a tiny speck of pink on the map, sure enough there will be a tiny patch of Miasma there. pointless, not something anyone added deliberately.
