This woman is the embodiment of a true legendary female artist and vocalist. Her voice is so full of emotion and control at the same time, which is a complete rarity. And mind you she is sitting down. She is masterful, an angel.

thank you for this reaction, i really appreciate it!
god has left me anyway. some of her lines are just hitting so deep, the sadness pearls out of her mouth in such excellence and elegance, it pierces through...
most people go crazy on aurora and angelina jordan, but here she is, the true queen from norway.
i remember very well the two years when i lived in oslo, so many good concerts. i often visited a café called liebling in oslo grünerløkka. one afternoon i shared a table with a woman, writing lyrics in her notebook. it was her.
a year later i attended a small festival, called audunbakken festivalen and they always selled 500 tickets. she headlined it in 2012. can you imagine that?
she is a light in all this sad world.
if you like, watch "turkish delight" from the very same concert.
sometimes i feel too much and can barely handle it any longer. then i listen to sad music. so i won't die the slowest death.

So why compare ? Both Susanne Sundfør and Aurora makes theyr own music - so I dont understand why Angelina Jordan is mention in this, as she only do covers. I think that is an insult to Sundfør and Aurora. You should rather take inn Ane Brun, Higasakite and Sigrid - all these women makes music as well.

@@heidifarstadkvalheim4952 she is mentioned because she is featured a lot on many many reaction channels.
when it comes to norwegian music on reaction channels it's mostly aurora and angelina, that's why i brought them into comparison
i'm not a fan of her, but to call it an insult is going way too far. she is also a huge talent and writing own material. for me angelina is too much of an amy winehouse copy.
but i'm not a fan of this hype around aurora either. it's too much of all this forest fairy thing, i don't like this picture people are painting of her. in my opinion it distracts people from seeing the woman in her.
i love some of auroras songs, the stripped versions, but i dislike the sound of her album material.
ane brun has a very remarkable voice and i love her music as well. highasakite, kalandra, fieh. all good bands.

Thank you for reacting to this. Susanne has so many amazing songs, yet the few reactions I've seen are for the same few songs. While she's an incredible live performer, don't miss out on her studio albums. The production is amazing and not to be missed. Live performances have limitations as far as audio goes. She also performs with Royksopp.. their latest, "Profound Mysteries" is a triple album and is amazing from start to finish (especially songs with Susanne). :-)

The only song I knew with Susanne was the one she did with M83 called Oblivion, which I highly recommend you check out if you haven't already. Just for once, not even Floor Jansen's cover version could beat the original. I'm going to look for more of Susanne's own material after hearing this one.
