Fighting, Wounded, Medevacked: A U.S. Marine in I Corps, South Vietnam, 1967-1968

James Anderson participated in the Battle for Hue City and saw combat in southern and northern I Corps, 1967-1968. On May 31, 1968, he was seriously wounded by a grenade in very close fighting.
