  • Roger Lockshier served as a Huey gunship crew chief with the 101st Army Airborne, 1967-1968. Most of his tour, he served with Military Assistance Command Vietnam/Studies and Observation Group (MACVSOG) special forces conducting operations in Laos and North Vietnam. Mr. Lockshier shares memories of his service, including "people sniffer" missions, the Tet Offensive and being shot down and rescued during an operation in Laos.
