  • William Taylor served most of a thirteen-month tour with a U.S. Marine Corps special landing force that deployed throughout I Corps, South Vietnam, 1967-1968. He participated in 27 operations, including Buffalo, Cochise and Medina. He received three Purple Hearts. Marines Mr. Taylor knew who did not survive the war are memorialized at the end of the discussions. To these can be added Raymond Harvey, who was killed in action on Augustst 16, 1967.
