Olympic you should re-update it bc putting Zhou as thumbnail in a video that has “top jumps” in the title is mind boggling
Vincent Zhou's quad Lutz isn't a quad or a Lutz. He switches to an inside edge, so that makes it a Flutz, not to mention the extreme pre-rotation on the jump; not a quad. The only reason he's the "first" to land it is because the tech panel didn't do their job properly and ratified an incorrect jump, and because he was in an earlier group. Boyang Jin is the first skater to truly land a quad Lutz at the Olympics and his is the best there is; it's funny that the Olympics channel and American media coverage always pays him dust.

Really hoped to see Mao Asada in the video as a special mention atleast. First lady to complete a tripleaxel in the sp, first to do two in the fs, first to do three in one olympics, first to do triple axels at two olympics and on and on and on. Not to mention first lady to successfully land every type of jump in her fs (with some deductions but all jumps were valid)! Incredible talent and legendary sportswoman

Vincent getting credit for the first 4lz simply because he skated before other people who could actually do the jump (correctly) will never not be stupid.

I would not know the distinctions if I sat and watched all day but comments confirm my suspicions about the quality of the judging in ice skating. Judging seems to be about getting points for record numbers in a move rather than the overall quality of a performance. As a dilettante and total amateur in judging methods, I expect to have this opinion shot to pieces. I'll live with it. But, somehow, there is nothing else in human movement that approaches the fluidity ... the beauty ... of ice skating, it seems a shame to turn ice skating into a competition which is judged like a long jump or a high jump where numbers alone are valid. It's a sad day when we reduce such possible beauty to "numbers of rotations". There is a place for a competitive form of skating where such performance is valid. But should we ignore the inherent beauty if ice skating? I still enjoyed the video, particularly the woman who, having failed and fallen, got up and tried again ... and nailed it. It's different, interesting and a worthy addition to skating but it it should not become skating's central objective. An opinion.

Not even a single jump included from 2 times gold medalist(Yuzuru) and gold and silver medalist (Yuna)? Is this supposed to be a joke? They should have done top 10 instead at least.
Manchir Tserendagva Yuna was never the first to do any kind of jump in Olympics (or anywhere else) and all her triples/combination jumps at Olympics 2010/14 are so simple by the standards of today's top female skaters at Olympics 2018. Ladies figure skating jumps has evolved so much since Yuna retired, so stop putting her on such a high pedestal.
This top 5 is about the first time a jump was landed in competition. It's not about the best skaters.

I like Vincent Zhou, hopefully he's going to improve more. Yuzu is great but the sport is evolving fast. Love Nathan's comeback!!! Go Team USA, a very diverse team at this time, really love it! Great people in the content as well!
Yuzu IS the one changing the sport to its current level by breaking many records and done unthinkables afterall. Up coming competitions are sure is interesting with the current level.
Figure skating is evolving with all the great people who succeeded in inovating the aspects of this sport from single rotation to fluid movements. It has evolved and is evolving thanks to a lot of them. Yuzu is one of those great people. Skaters that follow him and probably idolize him will try / are trying to evolve as athletes for this sport and is pushing it to greater heights. An almost perfect routine with all those difficult jumps and artistry to boot, that will be athleticism and performance at its finest!
Ah yes, team overscored where their disasters are rewarded thanks to corrupt judging and the flag next to their name.

It's not their fault the title deceive them :P. You should know it's normal for any Yuna-fan to look for her in every video, she is well worthy of that, she did a lot in this sport too. Even if she was not the first to make a jump in a competition. Let's say they made a mistake but you can react more softly you know? I say this mostly because another answer you did in another comment when you were pretty rude.
