For the third and final test from the first Saturday, we decided to record this absurdly low-mounted STH-10 in Lansing. This thing is less than 10 feet off the ground; in fact, it is so low that you can literally jump up and touch it if you're tall enough. Of course, with it being as low as it is, this was definitely the loudest test of the day. My meter topped at 129.8 dBC as I stood right next to it, and I could feel my whole entire body rumbling, including my head! I would say that this is by far the loudest STH-10 I've ever heard, but it has such an unfair advantage that I probably won't even count it. It is also surrounded by buildings, so the reverb in the area is insane! Despite this test being so short, it was absolutely epic, and it was definitely worth the trip to experience it in person. Enjoy!
