Jeez, my QA is not so good today! I honestly forgot gulgortz was not legendary because he was one of the first characters I got. I just presumed he was legendary!

Super helpful, one of your best videos! It was great how you called out heroes that satisfy multiple requirements. That is a key strategy for token efficiency which many new players miss. I also really liked the summary at the end of very specific heroes to focus on for each track.

Yes, I did some before but always talked quite high level because I didn’t want to spoiler too much and wanted to let people find their own path, but maybe this is better.

I'll start from 70/150, so I don't think it will be enough, but this time I'll have a bunch of G1s and some new toys to help me compared to last time (Yarrick and Rotbone in particular), together with a generally more powerful team, so we'll see how far I manage to get.

@@DBPreacherTacticusYeah, that's my spirit with this event since I feel I'm right at the edge between the power level that lets you fight for an unlock and the simple fight for glory. I should be still a bit short, but we never know until it's all done and dusted. 😉
P.S. It's my 2nd Shadowsun event (I wasn't around for the 1st), so I'm missing the 250 resources from the first 10 missions, and that could sadly make a big difference...
So Rotbone should be priority over Toth and Angrax etc.? Overall very helpful video, I'ld gladly see more of these :)
Rotbone, Isabella and actus are all key parts of my legendary team. I have them all at gold II. For some time I had left them at silver I while I got some tanks in place. It really depends on your current progress!

Yeah that is always my battle too! However, I have now hit 40 g1 characters, so it’s getting a bit easier 😂

Aleph/Reevas/Actus got me to scrape in Ragnar for the 2nd event. I didnt know how to position the triage, but i figured it out and cleared up to 11 with Gold 1 chars.
Nice work! If you throw in tan gida for lots of spawns, it gets a bit crazy!
Managed to clear no summons, which i struggle with because i always 2nd nature all the spawns i can, so not using Scarabs or Reevas drones seemed a little backwards to me.
But i figured out if you can get Aleph to heal Actus and Actus to heal Revas while pinned in a corner, you can still use Reevas Overwatch without summoning the drones and it still clears as no summons.
Really really handy strat to learn.

Damn, you are correct. A while back I changed the way I was storing the upgrade average energy cost and just hard copied across the numbers from another sheet. I will fix it in a point release! Thanks for noticing!
Ok, I just fixed it, you can grab the v4.1 sheet from the same link or just grab it next time I do a big update. Thank you! Not many people change that option as it is a pretty damn advanced one!
@@DBPreacherTacticus Works a treat thanks for the quick update! It helps to plan with higher energy per item if you're farming mirror campaigns instead of elite. It's 7.23 for common, 8.45 for uncommon and 15 for rare. Hope it helps others.

All I’ve got is Incusis and mechanical healers. It’s been rough going these events. Super limited on characters as well. I’m level 35 but performance is like I’m level 28. I’ve got to get my core to Gold II to stand a chance.
That’s so tough, if you have actus and tyrant guard, definitely look at getting them levelled…. They will make a big difference
I dont have Isabella or Rotbourn, but I do have G3 / Active 46 Bellator who soloed Rangars Alpha Track all the way to level 11. With the Necrons on Alpha will Bellator be able to make similar progress? Or will the increase in pierce ratio mean I will have to look elsewhere for the points I need?
Well, the truth is that I do not know. That is hella impressive to be soloing to stage 11! Bellator really is a beast. Well done!

Recommendations if no Isabella, Rotbone, or Revas?
I’m a 9month old account, and working around every single content creator banking on 2-3 of those characters is… discouraging me from caring about watching guides.
Personally: I’m leaning hard on Bell and Aleph Diamonds. It works for the Ragnar event, but Shadowsun is completely up in the air: if this is enough.
Actus and tyrant guard are two new characters that make a huge difference to your teams! They are def worth it!
Caught that in your video. Might push them past Silver 3 to gold 1/2.
I found my biggest issue with TG in Rag’s event was synergy. Yeah he can stand there 4 turns and tank. But Eldy/Ath/Sho can’t kill fast enough before the whole team collapses (without healing) for the all pierce team.
I’m reluctant to work with him if that situation is all there is. (Still useful for clearing up through battle 5)
Synergy and being overleveled. Kinda the name of the game I suppose.

Yeah the ideal solution is you pair TG with aleph-null or Toth at the front and everyone else hiding behind as best they can. If you surround him with squishier champs; then def is an issue. Also, levelling his passive OVER lvl 35, gives it an extra boost which surprised me…
Back at the last Maugan event i neither Isabella or Rotbone.
So mechanical was my way where i could.
But what got me there is a often overlooked "little thing".
I made about 2k points killing.
The "win condition" for a whole 20 points and when that didnt work just kills. And the extra points for killing more than in the last try. Just brute force to the last points.
Im feeling like I'm in a good spot with one major hurdle, no Rotbone.
I'm going to get 1 more ten pull before the event and we'll see how many shards can be bought in Guild Wars and pray for the smelly boy if not Gamma is going to suck.

I’m new to the game. Does this mean that shadow son can no longer be unlocked at all?
His character shards will now be available from requisition pulls and maybe other places later! No characters so far are unavailable!
A know a cant max her for astra militarum restriktions. But can maybi complete batle 9 for them this time. Hav ended up secrefice 3 of The characters sow jarick get 5 sumons and then a live as long as posibol.
That’s all you can do honestly! It is a tough battle. I will have all of them gold I and some more this time round but when we get new legendary events, I will definitely be pushing right from the start on these type of solo faction events!
@@DBPreacherTacticus wel we havent sen them sins shadowsun. Closest ben restriktions not have a faction or treit (like no Resilient) but Who knows when they do pure faction agen. Ultramarines, orks and black templars a can se. Stil to erly for pure eldar or t-sons.
So, if you just started the game, there is no point in participating in this event because its very unlikely I will get him?
You won’t get him but you will earn some shards towards him, so it’s worth playing yes.
