agree good for LE & pvp maybe future campaign but not gr boss, the winged nids might be ok for most mode.
I love the Deathleaper's design. I hope at least after battle pass ends they will add him to requisition so even f2ps can have a chance at getting. I am however excited about Winged Prime and the Legendary Tyranid. I hope they are useful.

So, day 1 having Deathleaper in my PvP team. He is such a beast! I play three tyranids for now and their synergy is really nice for PvP. Hope to unlock Winged prime soon, but can imagine tyranid teams to see commonly in PvP arena. Especially Deathleaper is quite hard to outplay staying next to guard. And again, suppressing each melee attack works great with Neurothrop. (which can emergency heal the party).
That's good to know I've not got him yet but unlocked the prime who is pretty good just getting him ranked up now 👌

I think that’s the idea behind the deep strike. It’s not that he’s actually deep striking but it’s easier to use that mechanic than create a new one

There is other ways to get shards apart from the battle pass premium and he's not locked behind the ultimate battle pass
You can get it from the premium. No need for the ultimate
Evidently from what I've read, regular premium will unlock him at Epic but the ultimate will get you to legendary. At legendary all actives/passives gain 20% efficiency.
