I'm constantly surprised by how many bikers seem to hate on Henry Cole. I've talked to him and he seems a decent guy who's completely obsessed by motorcycles.
He above all has done more to bring motorcycles to mainstream TV. He has also done much to up the profile of his friend and engineering genius Allen Millyard.

I don’t dislike the guy, I’m not a fan boy either but he does keep biking in the media and therefore and indeed he does raise the profile of people like Millyard and biking in general which can only be a very good thing.
Perhaps it’s jealousy of his resources, he has a few quid after all.
Perhaps what biking really needs is someone like him but younger to attract a younger generation but I’m sure a lot of the old timers would probably hate them more 😂

@@bikerdood1100 After watching him on stage at the Stafford Classic, I do wish occasionally he would shut up and let other guests speak. After seeing the demographic at these events, is there that much interest in older bikes with the younger generation?

People 'hate' Henry ? Get out.. he presents as a lovely bloke, he's an entertainer that loves bikes and he has the ideal mate in the mechanical marvel of Allen and as such, just has to be OK.. loving the whole Nemesis series and it has prompted me to once again, go back through Allen's back catalogue of you tube vids.. LOL the ignition switch sequence was sheer comedy gold as an illustration of these two & their r'ship.. Big Congrats, Big Thanks, to the National Motorcycle Museum for allowing Allan to weave his magic on this one off.

Hopefully this unique project comes to fruition. It's too good of an engineering concept to leave gathering dust in a museum. Yes there are questionable design qualities on the bike but it was just that - a concept. It's true beauty lies in its heritage.

After watching 3 of Allen's videos on repairing this bike, there's so much iffy engineering on it that it may well be Allen's nemesis. As for Henry, he's an entertainer & obviously hams it up for the camera. I enjoyed his shows with Sam Lovegrove & of course Allen.

The Commando 961SP is an excellent bike with component quality and price challenges. The V4SV and forthcoming V4RC are overpriced and, if rumours are correct, may be discontinued at some point towards the end of 2014. We are already seeing NUML creditors seeking to sell delivery mileage V4SV bikes, and these bikes are just not finding buyers on the secondary market which suggests new V4SV bikes may also be struggling to buyers!

He is mechanically inept however but I find an awful lot of people are these days. There aren’t too many people who perform their own bike maintenance anymore.
