My girlfriend and I do that "I love you" "I love you more" but instead of probably I say "I love you most" that is one of my favorite things. I'm sure my response will change as we get older though😅🤣
I can vividly remember my mom insisting on writing out a check for $3 at SAFEWAY for cat food. First she couldn't find her checkbook, then she couldnt6 find her pen, then she couldn't find her glasses. I begged her to let me use my debit card but no go....the line kept getting longer and longer and it was FOREVER for her to write it out...by the time we left, the people behind us were ready with torches and pitchforks!!!

Hilarious the whole way through!!! I can totally relate to the part about the card he bought for his wife. I gave my mom a lovely Mother's Day card I thought said "I Love My Mom" But it actually said "I Love My Man" 🤣
My husband would buy me cards. After years of marriage counseling, the therapist told him:
These are not cards, this is a "report card."
Today, after 37 years of marriage 💑,, we don't buy cards. Sometimes we just stand in front of the card aisle and pick one for each other, give it to each other to read. Then save the money and use it toward a dinner.
That's a good way to spend money... I never understood the card business. No one sends them to me because I warned them I'll feed them immediately to the trash can.

1:40 malwart, when there's more than three people in line, they close all but one register. 2:10 married for 42. we're in our 70's; when i worked emergency crew, breakdowns, first responder, wrecks with cars going past at 70+ mph, i got into the habit of telling her every day i loved her--it might my last chance. i still do.

I'm an artist and am compelled to comment once again on the dry bar comedy set designs. Whomever does the sets for these does a great job. It looks like such a fun "job"! In Jr. High, in Florida, I got special permission to keep up a display case. In H.S., in Oregon, I worked after school in a women's clothing store and got to do their display windows. I loved it. As an adult, I enjoyed being able to do some displays as well.
