For those who don't know, you can find a Pokémon that isn't affected by rage fist, use it 10 times, use a PP UP, and use it again 10 times and then level it up. It will still work and count! Happy Shiny Hunting! :)
If you get tired of picnic resetting just jump down to the grass by the big hole entrance into the rock. Mount and drive away from that hole. Just drive away and back from the mountain hole on the grass and you will see loads of mankey packs.
Helpful think I noticed, if you're battling a Normal type, even though Rage Fist will of course miss, it STILL counts as being used so you can cut out having to grind numerous battles especially since there won't be an animation for a missed attack.
Is there any need to let the spawn table finish before a picnic reset? I didn't think so, but I'm on sandwich reset four with no shiny. Probably just bad luck, but pretty frustrating when every other hunt has been in one sandwich and this is my first picnic reset attempt.
Giving up after an hour and a half of farming at this spot. This doesn’t seem worth it unless you already completed the pokedex. Have no clue how people are seeing shinies in under 15 minutes.

If you use the video games chronicle site for sand which recipes the “fighting” recipe that uses 3 peppers, prosciutto, and herbed sausage doesn’t give Encounter power. It gives power for shining, title and item drop. Going to have to use another recipe for fighting or the simple pickle and 2 salty.
OK I want to say thanks for this. I did the Sandwich Recipe for Fighting, and I decided to go to Area 0 and I realized that Silther Wing is Fighting and what do I find behind a rock.... a Shiny Silther Wing, and not only that, but I did not have the Shiny Charm, so I found a Shiny in Area 0, so thanks so much!
If you go to settings on your switch you can enable zoom (press home botton twice to activate), which i find more useful than the camera button: you can customize how much zoom you want and also it doesn't reset the view to where your carachter is facing. You do see some more pixels, but as long as you're looking for a different colored pokemon, I find it better than the camera zoom

First off: if you're doing pic nic resets, the spawning pokemon will be too far aeay to attack you (I've been doing it for no less than 100h, so I'm pretty sure my testing was ok). When there are pokemon who do (it happened to me ONLY with cyclizar because it's a fast boi) you're better off opening your normal menu and still use the zoom option to check your screen better. Also zooming doesn't reset your camera and lets you off with 2 less button presses each time you open a pic nic (as you can open up the pic nic without zooming out, while with camera you have to open it up and closed it every time). All in all, i personally tried both and 9 time out of 10 zoom made camera controls useless, that 1 time out of 10 worked well i guess, but even then zoom just worked better (keeps a more top-down perspective which works great for shinies)

If you want herba sandwich but you are low on salty: red, green and yellow peppers, prosciutto and herbed sausages x2. Also double tap home button is quick way to zoom in even more

Awesome! I caught mine close to 2 weeks ago. I went closer the the southern area, and since Mankey was the only fighting in that area, thats all that was spawning. I got it about 10mins into the sandwich.
This might be old news but I haven’t seen it mentioned in any videos (or maybe missed it) but if you close the game before time skipping, then skip, only the Outbreaks reset, the 6* raids stay the same, might be helpful if anyone is farming a raid but also wants to reset Outbreaks for shiny hunting without losing the raid
its worth noting you only need to "use" rage punch 20 times. it doesnt need to connect. i recently just made one and spammed the move on a normal type for no effect and it still evolved after leveling with a candy.

What do you use if you aren’t using Herve Mysitca? I used Pickles then it required me to use a condiment so I choose mayonnaise, which increases Fighting and Normal and the end result was level one encounters in Fighting and Flying. What am I doing wrong?
Used Level 2 Fighting encounter and got a Shiny Skiddo about 14 minutes in. Then about 26 minutes in, I saw there was only one Mankey spawn and looked to the ledge to the upper right and saw a whole bunch of Mankeys, including a shiny one 😂
I breed out my shiny annialapes with my Japanese ditto I got in the give away. Managed to get 2 of them. Now I'm trying to breed some shiny eevee's, but am getting vary unlucky.

Can i get advice please yesterday i made a fighting shiny sammich in this location and the spawns didnt change for me at all is that normal? All i got was what i normally see i even traveled around and still rarely seen any mankey let alone fighting types
When you check for a mark put your Pokémon in your party than check! Sometimes when I first catch the Pokémon check for mark it will have no mark than I put it in my party and it will show the mark same with the Pokémon in my box
I’ve always used Lvl. 2 because it’s very fruitful. I’m not at all stocked with herbas and trying to get into any raids on Discord is impossible. All my shiny hunts have been Lvl. 2 and I have over 60 in both games each.
@@bombademar4711 No, unfortunately not. Sparkling is exclusive to Lvl. 3 sandwiches. Encounter Lvl. 2 works really well in my opinion. Sparkling doesn’t feel like odds increase at all.
Have a mankey outbreak next to this spot and I've tried 2 sandwiches after having shiny charm and nothing yet lmao, I thought I'd get like 5 or more from the outbreak... the game don't love me...
As a clarifcation. You must have the shiny charm and the herba mystica if you at all are going to get multiple shinies. Because it goes faster finishing the entire dex and doing some raids than attempting to catch for 4-5 favorites without. It isn't really optional, it is folly to start catching many pokemons on the lowest rates, it takes ages. With charm and sandwich I catch a shiny per 10-20 minutes depending on the difficulty and availability. Only a few faster and a couple are not so easy. Without, I spent hours sometimes. It is a waste of time. Dont do that to yourself. Your time is invaluable.
There's no way to increase the shiny rate without Herba, but the Lv. 2 encounter sandwiches work just fine. For Fighting encounter Lv. 2, you need Rice x6 Marmalade x1 Salt x2
This is by far worse than just riding a bike slowly around in the mountain grass between the windmills and the city with the water gym. You can get so many more Mankey spawns - I got 6 shinies in one sandwich that way over just one on this picnic reset

i just got an ability capsule on a five star mimikyu raid in poke portal 😂 (first attempt too) Edit: today i got sweet herba, ability capsule, bottle cap from 1 five star pawmot raid
for a better fast travel point, you can use the ruin gate fast travel point if you have it unlocked. just talk to the history teacher until you have it unlocked.
For the people that don’t have herba mystica, you can use no.81 Great Ham Sandwich which has fighting type encounter power level 2.

I just did a charcadet hunt here. Found out that you can also iso hunt Rockruff in this spot with a Rock sandwich!
Quicker fast travel spot would be to fly to the Icerend Shrine if you have it unlocked

I already hunted a shiny Mankey using the old spawn/despawn method (found a shiny Croagunk too lol), but cool to know that this spot has another use.
With rage fist, I use it against Litleos, because it doesn't affect them and you can just use an ether and knock it out with one encounter

I found a spot for bergmite if you’re interested. Ice sandwich on an island in the NE. They spawn just like this.

For fighting type encounter rate level 2 use: 2x herbed sausage 4x rice 1x butter
