Im someone who mainly saves shiny hunting as a post game activity, there have been many times where pokemon refuse to auto battle. A lot of it has to do with certain slopes in the game that don’t necessarily allow the Let’s go feature to function properly, or positioning of your pokemon and wild pokemon, making wild pokemon at some very very specific angles nearly invisible or unreachable to the let’s go AI. The AI should only react this way when sending your pokemon out to a pokemon that is in the air, or towards shiny pokemon, which I have confirmed myself works. I still do not trust the AI, and I was only able to confirm because cubchoo is such a lackluster shiny, I wouldnt have cared if it did get knocked out

The classes actually tell you useful information about the game like where to change your pokemons Teratype and if you talk to the teachers enough they will give you 50 Terashards of the type that they like! Tip 11: This goes for any Pokemon game, but it's especially the case here since grinding levels is so much easier - switch out your pokemon as gym battles/star bases need. Don't try to power through with the team you've had since the beginning. So many people I've seen struggle with certain gym battles (cough* Larry *cough) because they don't have something good against that team. CZcams suggested this video to me and I ended up finding it quite useful and entertaining. You've earned yourself a subscriber here!
Now, I haven't "finished" Scarlet, as I haven't had that much time to play the game. I have been taking in all three routes at the same time, going around the map and doing whatever's close-by. I managed to beat Team Star bosses by combining my Tallonflame's insane speed with super effective moves by another 2 or 3 pokemon, while having the rest of the party there just to revive the super effective mons. It was very challenging, especially because I ended up being 20 levels below one of the bosses, but I still manage to do it.
I stopped progressing through the story as soon as I've earned all the badges (from all 3 routes), as I realized I was nowhere near as strong as I should be, going forward. I've been exploring, levelling up, grinding, improving my team, and it's been an amazing experience, just like you describe in this here video! I guess they've integrated enough aspects from Legends Arceus to make this gen amazing, despite the bugs and frame rate issues.
Anyway, just sharing my experience so far. Great video and I'll stick around, waiting for more content! ;)

Bellibolt is such a powerful Pokemon under the right conditions, speaking from experience Bellibolt can beat the last titan fairly easily at around lvl 35, for refence that titan is around lvl 55. Bellibolts ability electromorphis doubles the power of electric type moves if it has been hit that same turn, that coupled with its high defense makes it quite easy for Bellibolt to one shot things, even if they are 5-15 lvls higher. So play the game better, play the game fatter, play the game with two fake eyes, use Bellibolt.

Its easier than spamming the A button and having to heel-turn every time you barely miss an item, and quite a few evolved pokemom are fast enough to follow.

One thing I love about the game is that they further streamlined the ease to get a competitive team.
I've never gotten into competitive Pokémon due the work needed for it (even though it has been made a LOT easier in recent entries) but this time I actually feel like doing it.
You can get good IV pokëmons from raids and even if you don't you can actually buy the bottle caps now AND they're only 20k each. AND the nature mints are also buyable as are the good battle items as well. And on top of EV training ain't bad either since the Power items cost only 10k each as well.
No matter if you go catch a random pokemon you want or decide to breed for one, or if you find a lucky shiny you CAN make it for competitive use now.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and you can also buy (or get from raids) Ability Capsules as well. You CAN also get Ability Patches from end-game raids to get hidden abilities that way as well, but the drop rate for those seems to be rather low, only found two so far and one of 'em I used for my raid mon.
...The ONLY THING I ain't fan of is that there's no alternate way (at least yet) to learn any egg moves. A thing my poor shiny Kingambit fell victim to since it can't learn Sucker Punch now... Or how if you evolve Shroomish too early, there's no access to Spore for it.
If they can fix those things in DLC this is more or less the best as it can get for me.

Fighting Mella and Eri while underlevel has been one of the best experiences i've had playing a pokemon game, things I only experienced in romhacks and fangames, where I am 100% not ready for what's about to attack me and I need to formulate a strategy on the and somehow pull it of.
Againts Mella ended up winning with my last pokemon, about 2-3 hp help, no revives and no potions that would heal me more than the god damn truck of hell would do the next attack.
It was very down to the wire and I will probably remember that for a while.

    Tip for wild Tera pokemon:
They might come with unique movesets and if you replace that move, you might not be able to have it relearn it later.
I found a Houndstone with Stomping Tantrum and Ally Switch. I taught it Sandstorm, replacing Ally Switch, but noticed I couldn't change it back afterwords. Maybe that was just me being dumb or blind, but be careful if you maybe wanted to keep certain moves they come with. Save beforehand, test it, and revert to save if need be.

The star mobiles were fantastically designed...kinda wish there was a way to give your own Revavroom their signature moves though
And the move reminder function is the single greatest thing they ever added...having to struggle to find heart scales or meticulously deciding which move you wanna keep because you may not get it back...was such a pain...plus being able to relearn tm moves you taught to it is also quite the hefty bonus

hey wolfe, you can indeed lower the stats. i cheesed them with intimidate switch ins and leer, speed is the big issue because spin out increases their speed. pretty impossible to win in that regard, so just count on going second if underleveled. love your content
