Charisma, I am so proud of the fact that you broke the concrete wall, Mama Kelly was always the Mama bear protecting her disabled son, I can understand her love and protection .But you hung in there and fought for your love for Cole, I am so proud of you girl, this is what true love is, When Mama Kelly realize that you were willing to "walk through hell in gasoline draws" for your love for Cole, and you wasn't going to run but stand your ground, all she could do was let go, Love is stronger than death itself and you fought for your love, you are now more than a Mama bear, you are going to be his wife. I thank God that you found your soul mate, for many of us live and die without finding the soul that completes us, Mama Kelly knew this and that's why she gave her most precious gift to you to care for. I know that it wasn't easy for neither one of you. But thank God he opened up her heart and mind, therefore I am so very proud of both of you for you'll love and protection of Cole. My God continue to bless this family.

I broke my neck at 16 also C3 quad, don't have any arm function, a big difference what level you damage C3, C4, C5. if I injured 1 more level down my life would of been so much different. I've been living in a nursing home 17 years. I got over covid, I had it 42 days and was really sick but made it thru

I don’t understand why you get hate. Yes, Cole is in a wheelchair. Yes, they are different races. The problem with any of these? Nothing. They are happy, it’s a relationship and they love each other. So don’t be here if u have any issues with it, and leave these guys to be happy.

I love your channel I met a guy in a wheelchair at college 2 years ago & we've really built up our relationship I wouldn't say were dating but close to it we act like a couple. he gets around in his chair better than I do just walking around lol he's always opening doors for me & making sure Im ok & asking where I am if im late meeting him around campus & always offering to help me with assignments. sure we have our ups & downs but this is as happy as I've ever been even when I dated & able bodied person. your channel really puts it into prospective for me how lucky I am to be with someone like that

I am a caregiver for my husband who has Parkinson’s and our daughter who is a paraplegic. Definitely know about burn-out.

His mum must have been happy and blessed to have a daughter in law who can take it all for a lifetime. If you love someone, care for a lifetime will never feel like a burden. God gives the spouse who does that care a new type grace. Communication makes a whole world of different to unlock powerful levels of relationships.

I'm at the caregiving question and as a fellow mental health professional id like to add that if you are not taking care of yourself, you are not going to be able to have a successful relationship with anyone at all. Whether that be with an able bodies person, someone with an injury, disability, inter racial etc... your own sanity is so important!
I love the way Charisma looks at Cole when he is talking. I see a lot of love there. I can tell that you both love each other dearly. I hope that someone someday looks at me like Charisma looks at Cole.

After 15 years, two kids, tons of dogs, and multiple duty stations in the Marine Corps, we still laugh and smile just like you two.
