- First time filming a solo hike in the Julian Alps, part of the Triglav National Park. Gear used was a Sony A7ii with a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens. Turns out the A7ii isn't that great for filming.
I have muted some clips due to excessive wind noise. Will bring an external microphone next time :) - Komedie
I'm impressed that the A7ii can produce such a beautiful image!
This Video definitely deserves millions views. Everything in this video is amazing.
Thanks, appreciatie it!
I Am glad that you make it with those sports shoes! 😲
Awesome video with amazing trail in Slovenia!!
Goosebumps watching this, great music choice.

Your film captures the beauty of triglav national park very well! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thanks for making this beautiful film. Just gorgeous.
Nice camera work, music choose is especially good.
I have done this route, but never in one go, I always felt the 3rd day of mountain climbing is mostly just yearning for civilization.
Love from Slovenia.
Thanks a lot for your comment, I had a great time in Slovenia!
Great video but cant help thinking of you walking back to pick the camera up after walking so far away, made me chuckle.
Beautiful. And thanks God no talking. Smashing job man :)

Joost fantastisch wat een mooie natuur.
A beautiful composition. What time of year did you do your hike. Im thinking of going mid-June and Im wondering whether there will be too much snow.
This was the end of july. Mid june might be to early
I loved your video! I hope you make some more. I especially appreciated the no talking part, as well as the effort of going back and picking up your camera! Hahaha. Just one thing, could you refer to everything you packed? And when did you take that hike? Was it autumn? Thank you and congratulations for your video😊
Hallo Joost! BEDANKT voor Jouw grote hike. Bedankt voor de lift. Leuke shots. Ga zo door...
Bedankt voor deze mooie comment! :)
They are not the highest mountains in Europe but they are really pretty . So people from Switzerland , should not criticise people with smaller mountains . Slovenia is so pretty !
Looks good. Is that backpack all you took with you? And at what time of the year did you go there? Oh and how did you go from and to places, is public transportation reliable? Or could you sleep close to the hikinh spots aswell? Sorry for all the questions. Anyways, great content.
Yes the backpack was all. I stayed in mountain huts so no camping gear needed. Public transportation was very reliable, unfortunately my backpack got stolen on the way to the airport so please sat carefull. This hike was around august
@@Joostbosman1986Alright, thanks for your elaborate reply! Sucks that your backpack got stolen. Have a good one.
Very Very Cool!!!!!
Waw!
Stunning! I will visit Slovenia this summer and plan to go on some challenging hikes. This looks absolutely stunning! Q1: which trail was this? Q2: what time of year was it?
you can find the route here www.moonhoneytravel.com/triglav-national-park-slovenia/ this was somewhere in july - august
Very nice video! It’s inspirational. Name and model of the backpack? Is it waterproof?
Thanks! It's an Osprey Exos 48 liter. You will need a seperate rain cover
Kan je in dr Julische alpen goed op hoogte blijven lopen?
Amazing footage and impressive work man. I am planning a trip through the Julian Alps later this year - I'm curious what route you took from Pogačnikov dom to Koča na Doliču? Were there any sections that were very technical?
Thanks! The route is took can be found here: www.moonhoneytravel.com/triglav-national-park-slovenia/ the route never got really technical. But do bring a via ferrata kit to be sure
@@Joostbosman1986 Thank you! That's super helpful. Hope to see more of these videos from you eventually

Prachtig gefilmd Joost! Op deze manier filmen heeft je wel wat extra kilometers opgeleverd volgens mij.
Thanks! Haha ja dat is zeker waar, was de moeite waard :)
Love the video. What hiking poles do you use?
I think these were from the Decathlon. Unfortunately the got stolen on the way back home. Using Black Diamond poles now
