The System is an American synthpop duo consisting of vocalist/guitarist Mic Murphy and seasoned session keyboardist David Frank. The band was founded in 1982 in New York and backed up by Paul Pesco on electric guitar and Kris Khellow - keyboards, synthesizers. Sometimes the group is referred to as an "emotio-electro" band because of their hi-tech, synthesizer-driven sound mated to passionate vocals and sensitive lyrics. - Hudba
Thank God for cats like David Frank and Mic Murphy, using then-unheard of computer technology to make music generations before it became the norm. I hope someday the youngsters will appreciate the work of these two innovators...

These guys were ahead of their time. Unfortunately they came out when we had Prince and Michael taking over. They were popular, They had a fan base. People are trying to catch up now. David Frank and Mic Murphy inspired me to do a project that was innovative musically in Europe. They are underrated ,but real musicians know they are the Ish.

I will admit, this song grew on me after listening to it 4 times, and I must say that this is probably the most emotional and heartfelt song that The System has made. However, with that said, all music is subjective, so not everyone will like this song. Personally, I prefer "Lollipops & Everything" more, but I will still give a shoutout to David Frank for the beautiful synth arrangements nonetheless! 😎

Lol Very tough! So many!!! Any and all from his debut! Still gives me chills to this day. Also "Got to Have Your Love" ft. Wondress. Can't forget the blazers he did for Just Ice, especially "Cold Gettin' Dumb." The blazers he's too done for my girl Joyce Sims ("All.In All", "Come Into My Life", "Lifetime Love"); "Never Gonna Let You Go" (Chandra Simmons); and "Hungry For Your Love" (Hanson & Davis)...to name a few!!! lmao
