No apple home key in 2023? I have a VOCOlinc lock I got back in 2019. Been thinking of upgrading just for the apple home key feature.

Unfortunately not until I see the price go down for a home key lock that’s thread enabled. I don’t see any benefit it paying more for a Bluetooth home key lock. And the ones with thread are $500+. I’ll wait! I’ve heard Good things from the VOCOlinc. I have a few of there products. There new corner lamp just arrived this week!

@@CScott4k a metalic door with 10 bolts, and 2 door cylinders in-the main door bady, is a normal door for my contry

I have exactly the same lock,. Any idea why it takes forever for a HomeKit to open, or lock the door?, sometimes literally it takes 30 seconds or more

Sorry for the late response. Most of the time when I see that, it thinks I’m not within Bluetooth range and tries to route the request through your thread router. Unfortunately I believe the only way to eliminate this would be to go with one of the more expensive home key/thread supported locks.
