Remember one of the biggest goosebump moments of the 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony that was held at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest? It was the moment when 2,008 drummers played the bronze Fou drums and sang the quote from The Analects of Confucius written 2000 years ago: "Isnât it delightful to have friends coming from afar?â to welcome friends from all over the world. I can't be the only one that wanted people to stop clapping and cheering early.
IKR!!! Like let them finish!
For performances like these I see why in classical music etiquette the audience is supposed to clap at the end and not between movements. This audience is annoying as a former musician lol
Humans are both amazing and annoying.

A someone who used to do military drills, coordinating a few hundred people already required a ton of training. The fact that they've somehow managed to get over 2000 people to line up so perfectly in their movements is amazing. This takes incredible discipline and practice.
Just listen to any drumming orchestra from Brazil. You have hundreds of players who actually play and do not shout. And the music is magnificent. I give credit for coordination at least.
