This is amazing Leone,My hands normally shake when i am placing it on the next tier
I know right 😂😅 thanks. You have to keep practicing
Wow so helpful. How I fear whipped cream cakes for weddings
If you continue or start practicing sooner or later you'll overcome the fear
So nice and precise. Would like to know, for how long can the cake stay outside?won't it melt? Or did you freeze them? For how long? Thank you so much for the video.🥰
No it won't melt because pristine is a stable non dairy cream and it stays out till late and still in perfect condition. No I don't freeze them
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 what do you suggest we should use dairy or non dairy whipped cream for tiered cakes?
Hey Leone, thus is beautiful, you really make it look so easy.
Kindly can this type of frosting be used in a hot weather area like marsabit, how would it behave if say you transport it from Nairobi to marsabit to stack it for a wedding, TIA.
Thank you Anne. However I don't know how the cream would behave in Marsabit. What I'd advice is you go for semi frosted cakes or fondant iced cakes
Thanks for the quick reply❤️ is it ok if I don’t put central dowel when I stack it at the venue itself?
Yes it's absolutely ok just ensure every tier is perfectly levelled.
Personally, all the wedding cakes I've tiered on site I normally DON'T put the central dowel... I only dowel every tier and ensure the following tier has a thin board beneath....I hope I've answered you satisfactorily👍👍
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 yesss thanks a lot this is so kind of you ma’am
@@grishmabhawsar3397 you're welcome. Best wishes 🙏
Absolutely Okay. Personally I don't include the central dowel. I tier them up at the venue as you can see from the video
Thanks for this video, God richly bless you but can you please do a video of how you made the wedding cake
Thanks. The video shows how I frosted the cake
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 Okay, but I want to know how you baked the cake I can see 3 layers of each cake please
Thanks for the video. Please how long did you freeze the cakes before transporting them to the wedding site?
I did not freeze them at all. For this particular wedding cake, I finished frosting, packed and delivered to the wedding ground to tier up all in one morning.......as for other whipped cream wedding cakes, I only put them in the fridge overnight then, the following morning I take them to the venue
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 thanks
Thank you for the video, was very very helpful God bless you. A question are those roses edible and can you please do a video on how to do edible flowers?
I'm glad you were blessed by this video. 🙏🙏 Yes those are edible roses. I'll do a video soon stay tuned
Remember to like and share this video 🙏 have you subscribed?
Yes subscribed, liked and always waiting for your new video. Can't wait for one for sugar flowers. Will really appreciate.
@@puritynjeri3759 you're welcome 🙏
Hey Leone, my question is how do I know how many kgs the bottom tier will be and the second and last? Is there a particular way of calculating? Thank you learning alot as well
You take the total kgs and distribute them (according to the number of tiers required) in a proportional way to ensure stability and a glamorous look. There are many ways to do so depending on the outlook you want on the tiered cake which may take time to explain. I kindly encourage you to do more research on the same as part of your homework 🤗👍👍you got this
Hi, Thanks for the video. I have one question are the oil based sponges good to use for tiered cakes or not as they are fragile compared to butter cakes?
You're welcome
Some oil cakes can be tiered but some can't it all depends on the structure and strength of your cakes based also on your recipes. So it all depends.....
@ promise thank you ma for the response cz whenever I try to smooth the frosting with a plastic scraper Its a huge disaster. Plus when I tier my cakes with whip cream the cream bedges on the bottom tier creating a huge mess on the sides of the bottom tier. I am even wondering how you did it cause the bottom tier's frosting didn't budge on the sides after putting the top tier am really fascinated 🎉 maa I admire your talent definitely need your help and will be waiting for such videos 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for the compliment. I'll post more training videos
Thank You. My prayer is I wanna one day produce such glorious cakes too.
@@PromiseNyirongo you will for sure keep practicing
Please demonstrate in a slow motion how to hold the scrapper when smoothing the frosting please
That's okay I'll probably do a separate video to demonstrate that
Awesome, that P&A sticker not sure what name to give it; it's not fixed with some edible glue?.... You got talent 👌👌👌
No dear it's an edible picture that attaches itself to the cream automatically
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 Thanks siz .... I admire your work
@@paulinechege6596 thank you so much you always encourage me
Great, let me know the name of that tool you have used to get those lines
It's a cake decorating tool called a cake comb you can get it from #phillsoftsystems in town naiobi
Did you freeze the cakes 1st b4 stacking?
No I didn't
Using the pattern spatula always challenges me. Do i need to pit a tjick coat of cream to avoid digging in?
not to thick. it is also more of using a light hand
Hi the video is not loading on my end I don't know what could be the problem coz I have internet..
Please try again Maybe it's net connection on your end
Hey Tehillah, where did you buy your tall white cake smoother?
I bought it from Lisa Vuitton.
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 Thanks
@@TheCakeAddictke you're welcome
Where can I get those wooden stands...for the centerpiece cake?
We hire out and we can sell to you too
My other question is did you frost the cakes the morning of the wedding day ? Or previous day in the evening?
For this particular one I frosted that morning. However, for all the other whipped cream wedding cakes I frost the previous day late in the evening
Were they frozen or just chilled before transporting them? When stacking on site, were they brought to room temperature or left in a chilled temperature?
Thank you!
Also, how long can the whipped cream last before it is affected by warmer temperatures? such as melting or not staying firm?
Hi thanks for asking. I frosted the same Saturday morning (day of the wedding) dowelled, packed them separately and drove off to the venue so no I didn't get time to chill the tiers in the fridge before set up. Once at the venue I went ahead to tier them up still at room temperature and all. Hope I have answered you satisfactorily
@@bluediamondbh93 The cream I used for filling and frosting was a non dairy cream called #pristinecream which was more stable. Out of 69 weddings so far, we have used the same non dairy whipping cream for more that 30 outdoor/ garden weddings in a gazebo and they all stayed firm throughout the day
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 Thank you so much for answering my questions! very appreciated :)
@@bluediamondbh93 you're welcome
Hello! How much whipped cream did you need for this cake?
I don't remember exactly but I guess around 3 or so 1litre packets of pristine whipping cream
Is the final label that was stuck on the cake edible print?
Yes it was
Why was a cake stand not used under the second tire? Can u yes it on the second and first?
I don't understand
I don't understand your question
@@tehillahcakesandcaterers6043 sorry about the errors. I noticed that the cake floor was used only under the second tire. Can it also be placed under the first tire?
How do you make the whipped cream please tell us. Thank you
I already made 2 videos to demonstrate how to whip pristine non dairy cream to a perfect consistency. Sending you the links
How long can this stay without refrigeration?
Can i make it a day before the wedding without refrigeration?
Yes you can
How long will the frosting last without refrigerating the cake
@@ShirleyNakalema like the one I did above lasted the whole day for a wedding and still people carried home their pieces and were still okay. Please note this is the non dairy cream I used.... pristine
Thnx
