Useful info. I liked the look of that GT85.
Did you lock the door using the keyblade prior to this demonstration otherwise the car alarm should have sounded?
My wife has a Fabia Mk3 a great car it ain't.

Interesting point.
It was locked via the fob beforehand, Nta16. No alarm sounded (as we saw).
However, many moons ago the alarm sounded in this scenario.
I've no reason to think the alarm's faulty. I deliberately set it off the other day for another video. Long story!

Perhaps shutting the door quick fooled the dumb computer!
The alarm always goes off on my wife's car as first she and then I discovered as there was no mention of this in the section on "emergency key" - but it is mentioned in the alarm section. - "If the driver's door of a vehicle with a remote control is unlocked and opened by the lock cylinder, then the alarm is triggered".
I was also very annoyed to have to walk to my workplace on the coldest day of last February to try to sort out why the remote wasn't working when I'm careful about batteries in remotes and alternating use of both remotes (and keyblades) to even wear. FYI the remote failed at 7.5 years (half use), £143.40 for the new one plus £41.40 programing.
If that was the only item that's has failed or plays up I might think it's a great car!

Thanks for the info, Nta16. The Fabia in this video is from 2017, so we'll keep an eye on the remote.
GT85 just fixed my bathroom window and a camera tripod.

​I don't think the remotes (on the Mk3 Fabias) are usually a problem, unless it's a KESSY (ours isn't) and then VW (and some owners) can create problems.
I've used GT85 to sort a few house fulls of plastic double-glazed and other doors and window locks and hinges. Today's uses were freeing up a 1992 Merc engine oil filler cap (needed waterpump pliers to get it off first time) and to clean, lubricate and protect a neighbour's garden loppers and secateurs after use, once again I used my can despite giving him a can to use, doh.
