Here in Jamaica our hospitals have patients sitting in wheelchairs and the floor while hooked up to oxygen waiting to be treated. Our healthcare workers are exhausted and stressed...just 3 nights ago, a doctor in our cul-de-sac fell asleep about 500 feet from home and drove into a neighbour’s fence; thankfully no one but the car and fence were hurt.
Our sole oxygen provider ran out on Friday and supplies had to be rationed for 3 days before some was able to be imported - no matter how much planning we can do, infrastructure (hospitals, ambulances, oxygen tanks etc) around the world simply cannot keep up with the demand caused by this virus.

They do watch this, but they ignore it which makes it even worse. People these days want an echo chamber that confirms what they already WANT to believe. They WANT to hear that it's all a liberal conspiracy because that would justify all the stupidity they wreaked during 2020. They WANT to hear that some anti-parasite dewormer maybe/might/possibly/could/perhaps be effective, because then they could ignore the vaccine! They WANT to hear COVID is no big deal because 99% of people survive (so 1 out of 100 die), while simultaneously being scared shitless of a vaccine (aka "poison") that has a 1 in 100,000+ chance to experience anything remotely more than mild cold symptoms...
They somehow do the mental gymnastics that allows them to simultaneously love Trump but ignore that he takes credit for the vaccine & took the vaccine himself...all while believing the big, bad government is trying to use it to monitor them (which would mean Trump's bad)!
It's deliberate ignorance. Trump taught them if you don't like the facts, just say the opposite enough & contradict it. Eventually if enough people go along with it, we can just ignore reality!
