From the 2002 album, "Through the Looking Glass" an album of music that had influenced Toto.
Steve Lukather's love for The Beatles, shines through with the guitar solo that is haunting and beautuful. Nice tribute. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Robert. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Steve Lukather is as good if not better than any guitarist in the world. And he’s a good singer too

Behind Hendrix, SRV, Gilmour, Clapton, Van Halen, Page, Beck , Vai and Santana

I agree with the last comment with the exception of van Halen and vai. He gets too technical, it's while my guitar gently weeps, not while my guitar gently shows off. It's good don't get me wrong but does he make it weep? He plays too fast or tries to be too clever, mostly, for it to weep. Similar to Peter Frampton's attempts. Clapton with Harrison in the 90s is the best live version, no showing off, no unnecessary speed, just pure feel.

Toto est le meilleur groupe du monde. David Paich aux claviers, Simon Phillips à la batterie, Mike Porcaro à la basse et Steve Lukather à la guitare. Ce groupe est incroyable. Les plus grands musiciens de studio réunis... Waouh.

Harri, just do a reaction to their 35 Anniversary Concert DVD, “Live From Poland.” Their actually better live and it’s impressive who’s on stage for this one. Also, a Top Shelf audio and video mix. Btw, Toto not in The R&R Hall of Fame. That’s a crime.

The whole "Live In Amsterdam" concert dvd is pretty amazing. I just wish they had done the entire "99" song instead of being part of a collage.

Robert - I’m a big fan of Steve Lukather, and this performance was great. This was a treat to listen to as are most of his performances. Harri, Your review was very good.

Mr Lukather is known for his guitar, not voice. However, he has a decent but not strong voice. I've seen him ranked in the top 20 and top 50 rock guitarists of all time. He's probably the most underappreciated rock/pop guitarist ever.

At times the vocals sounded like a very subdued version of Joe Cocker. If anyone hasn't heard it already check out Jeff Healey's version

Nah, that was Steve Porcaro from Toto who wrote that, with lyrics from John Bettis. Lukather did play on it though.

Never saw that performance, Steve Lukather is a fantastic musician. He has played in Ringo Starr's All Starr Band many times. You may like the version that Peter Frampton does as well.
