You are welcome:) Glad it helped!
Ray I had no idea this was how the fob worked with those little conductive buttons, I wonder if GMs functions the same way? I wont be afraid to take it apart after watching your video! Thanks as always my friend!!
Thanks, Karl.
Can not go be any worse than taking a PW apart to the bare minimum. Thanks for tuning in!
Good job
Happy to hear you found some value:)
The sound was low, but worked. Ty
Thanks for the feedback! I’m updating audio gear soon!
What kind of adhesive did you use?
I used a black RTV silicone. It hardens well with elasticity and a “rubber” type compound.
What about super glue? Would that work too? Idk where to buy what you used
Hello Erik
Super Glue would not work and actually cause an adverse effect. You can buy the RTV silicon I used from any auto parts store: Auto Zone, NAPA. Walmart may actually even sell it as well. Hope that helps.
@@restorays thank you for your reply. Will start this today.
Where can you find replacement discs?
Are you referring to the battery?
I just used scotch tape after cleaning and it’s been working for years again.
Instead of glue?
Interesting! With the RTV silicon it will maintain it shape:)
RAM key fob won't work.. cause you're trying to open your Jeep door. lol.
Lol.. Yes! The Jeep Was just in the background! Thanks for tuning in!
You need to invest in a new mic my friend. Can hardly hear you at 0:15
Agree…and I have since. Thank you!
Keyfobs are designed to be a money pitt for Ram customers, what a joke!
Some kid must have designed them…makes me sorry I bought a Ram…
They certainly don’t make things like they use too. But hopefully this video help people save a few bucks!
