  • The BMW E36 is the fourth generation of the BMW 3 Series, which was for sale between 1991 and 1999. The E36 was available in sedan, coupé, convertible, station wagon and hatchback body styles. The latter has been marketed as the Compact. In tune with BMW's core values regarding handling dynamics, the E36 was available with a rear-wheel drive, front-engine layout and a 50/50 weight distribution. Six cylinder engines (M50 & M52) are the best for drifting, with plenty of torque and power to spin those rear tires even in naturally aspirated form. If the budget is higher, a BMW M3 E36 is a good option; it has a powerful naturally aspirated straight-6 engine and a limited-slip differential (LSD) from factory, perfect for drifting. The BMW E36 typically comes with a McPherson front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, providing a sporty handling and good grip. It offers an economical entry into the drifting scene, providing the potential to transform the car into a drift-ready machine without breaking the bank with some minor mods like coilovers and a welded diff. And if you decide to get into professional drifting, the E36 is a very good platform as it has a very competitive chassis. Furthermore, the E36's adaptability makes it conducive to becoming an effective drift car. With a range of available modifications, enthusiasts can fine-tune the vehicle to meet specific requirements for drifting. #e36 #e36drift #bmwe36 #bmwe36drift #bmwm3 #drift #Drifting
