    Fabulous interview. Michael Owen isn’t dramatic about his son’s condition despite obviously finding it hard. He is a calm father figure and this is what James needs. Lovely father and son. Best wishes to them both.

    My mother has stargardts. She and her siblings were studied by the NIH in the U.S. and were the reason it was determined there’s a genetic component. It’s a cruel condition. If you have it, one of the few things you can do to slow it down is quit smoking or don’t start smoking.
