Trash Taste Podcast stars Garnt, Connor and Joey aka Gigguk, CDawgVA and The Anime Man sit down for their first ever live Trash Taste Q&A panel at MCM London Comic Con 2022.
The boys tackle classic questions like best girl, manga that needs an anime adaptation, anime that needs another season and whether anime is mid. They also address the pain of being CZcamsrs and the reality of being weebs in Japan. Other topics include Trash Taste lore, awful isekai and the boys favourite nicknames for each other.
Meanwhile… Connor gets hilarious advice for being maidenless, called out by an angry Italian over his pizza smacktalk, admits he’s always salty and politely refuses to give a relationship status with Ironmouse. Gigguk tries to explain the Fate franchise in five words and convince comic con that Meilyn is more cultured than Sydsnap. Joey admits they tried to buy a $10k anime figure and gets uncomfortably close to an unwelcome guest during a very unexpected stage invasion.

Quit heroing is surprisingly good. Of course not "best anime of spring 2022" level of good, but definitely worth watching if you have some free time and nothing else to do.

Aot, demon slayer, dress up darling, spy family, kaguya sama, komisan, shikimori, summertime render etc
Not to mention ongoing shows like one piece and pokemon entering some hype arcs this year as well
And those are only shows that have aired so far
We still have the summer and fall seasons to go through
Kinda hard to answer that question when we're only 6 months in lmao.
I guess it would make more sense if it was "Thus far"

disappointed with Grant, didn't expect him to not watch one of if not the best (kind of) isekai of the season, and props to Joey for watching it, it's really good imo

My Dress Up Darling probs for me. Was a breath of fresh air for the romance genre imo both characters were amazing
Yep, I've seen a lot of animes this year, yet this still takes the cake. Really good for just being a debut as well. Kaguya sama s3 is pretty incredible, but it's already been built up somewhat by the other seasons.

It's not an isekai. It's a hero that live long enough to see himself become the villain. (90% correct)
It is indeed a reverse isekai with a nice wheel of time feel to it. Definetly took what Realistic Hero tries to do later on and ran with it

As a manga reader let me tell you, it keeps getting better from this point owards. Also s3 ending is gonna make you scream from excitement.
Kaguya is top, but spy family and summertime rendering are a little above it... Last week's episode wasn't my thing, but the rap episode for example was one of the best!!! So definitely hyped for more

Legit, no one talked about demons slayer at all before. A lot of people didn't even consider it would get a anime now when it got an anime. People are hyped for it

I wanna agree with everyone that Demon Slayer was the best show but at the same time, the amount of Shounen trash moments in the Entertainment Arc was a bit too much for me. If it wasn't for UFOTable's awesome production, I would not nearly have enjoyed it as much. 😁
Oh for sure demon slayer is a pretty generic anime but the animation is just incredible
